[[The Harbingers]] are a multipurpose battleteam in [[House Dinaari]] of [[Clan Taldryan]]. Formed during the [[Dark Crusade]] to fill some key gaps (expand on what gaps and why they needed to be filled), the Harbingers are the unsung heroes operating in the shadows. (Detail who created the team--Kaz--and bring up the resurrection of Dinaari.

==History==

To expand on history, break it down into various parts:
* Creation/Planning (someone came up with the idea. What is the backstory there? Kaz going to Rian/Yacks with a proposal to expand on the Clan's need for an elite, covert unit to match the increased reliance on intelligence information during the Dark Crusades.
* Actually setting up the team and its first members. Since it's a new BT, celebrate the first leader chosen and the first handful of members (think the first X-Men team or something)
* If they haven't had any action yet, just prep for a historical account of what will happen in Crusades 2.0 (just a heading for now, leave it unfinished).

Despite Taldryan boasting one of the largest and most effective intelligence networks this side of the Galaxy, sometimes Military Intelligence just is sub-par. A fact that during the Crusade versus the One Sith became blatantly obvious. For this reason the Harbingers were assembled and trained to handle sensitive covert operations that would be near impossible or suicidal for standard military operatives.

Another key aspect of the unit is its multi-functionality and heavy training in all aspects of combat. Once again, despite Taldryan's impressive fleet and military, Force-assisted pilots were a missing component in frequent bouts for space supremacy. (This is not history, but more of an explanation behind what the team is.)

==Role==
[[The Harbingers]] are a natural counterpart to the [[Wardens]] (, a BT in Dinaari's sister House of Ektrosis -- never assume the reader knows all these things). Where the Wardens frequently see use as a form of guardian unit for Taldryan and its dominion, the Harbingers serve as the cloak and dagger - quelling threats through immoral means. (expand on what type of threats and what type of means.)

Multi-faceted and highly trained. (expand on the type of training they do. physical, mental, Force, piloting, etc. How often they do it. Where. Who they train with (other members of the Clan? TalEx?)

The Harbingers may see use as a Force-enhanced flight squadron, an intelligence network, a death squad, or even secret police. (each of these can be expanded on a bit. Say when and why they would be used for each. When does Tal need an elite flight squadron? Why would we pick harbingers to play the role?)

Due to the sensitive nature of their work, the identities of individual members are kept highly secret.

==Headquarters==
The Harbingers have no set headquarters. A multitude of planetary safe houses and hidden compartments on fleet ships serve as briefing rooms and armories. Much like like smugglers dens, the locations are kept secret and descriptions are classified; however some public details have been released.

===Planetary Safe Houses===
Planetary safe houses are nondescript buildings located near or around unlicensed space ports. Though seemingly like a normal building; typically a secret entrance within the building lets members gain access to the small, usually under ground, room. This is only the first security level; beyond which lays a series of complex tunnels that bring members to typical spaces like an armory, a secure vault for credits or other important items, or sleeping quarters. The necessities at these locations are stocked by various individuals; non members to the team. They are unknowing of the means, but are paid highly to keep the location and inventory of these sites a secret and stocked with inventory. These locations are critical to mission success; and therefore; are a major expense to the battle team.

===Fleet Safe Rooms===
Fleet safe rooms, on the other hand, are not set locations within ships. They are transient; ever changing as to avoid detection from non members. Through a series of classified runes and markings, members are informed as to where these locations are. These locations are typically leaner than that of planetary safe houses, perhaps a bag with a small cash of armaments and credits tucked behind a loose panel; or behind a large object. Larger scale safe rooms exist on capital ships, typically when a former member is the commander of the ship. They bare no markings or identifying marks to the battle team, and may be used by non members without any knowledge that they in-fact, house a much larger secret. Unfortunately there is no knowing where all of these locations are, though larger caches are tracked by the leadership of the battle team.

(To expand on this, maybe describe what makes an ideal safehouse location, or what kind of things are stored in a safehouse and how it helps members complete missions--credits, weapons, ammunition, etc. What type of buildings do we use? Maybe how they're funded through secret, backdoor channels of the Karufr government or something)

==Training==
Early on in the Crusade, the Harbingers were trained by veteran pilots to make up the gap left by the old Hyperion Flight. Their Force-enhanced spatial awareness and reflexes giving the Harbingers an added edge during dogfights.

Their covert training was supplied by hired help working in conjunction with an unnamed Taldryanite. (Again, expand on the training. What it entails.)

==Equipment==
Despite their military role, the Harbingers work separate from the Taldryan forces. They are something bigger, something better.

This allows the unit to tap into military resources as they see fit. Given the jurisdiction by the summit, the Harbingers can lay claim to any equipment within their proximity. An example of this is commandeering a squadron of X-wings without the express given consent of the onboard ship officers. (fact check that with Rian/Yacks? Also, detail their personal equipment. Members of the team would still have certain equipment on their persons by default. Whether it's a type of pistol, or body armor, or whatever.

Omega was born on [[starwars:Coruscant|Coruscant]] in the year 1 BBY. He grew up in a well established family, who prided themselves on tradition. Attending the finest schools, Omega was a below average student. Constantly being pushed by his father for perfection, he left his family at the age of 18. Struggling to find his place in the universe, Omega joined the [[Emperor's_Hammer|Emperor's Hammer]] at age 24. He became an exceptional pilot and was noticed by the Dark Brotherhood a year later. Unlike at the universities he attended, Omega excelled with his training within the EH and DB. Succeeding from both to form the New Imperium, Omega was lost to them after several years. He managed to make his way back to the DJB, and is currently on the fast track back to where he left off.

== Character History ==

On a recent trip to [[starwars:Yavin_4|Yavin IV]], his body was found in a comatose state. He was obviously a Jedi... his sabre at his side; he was adorned with New Imperium insignia. Something about him seemed familiar, but [[Telaris_"Mav"_Cantor|Telaris Cantor]] couldn't put his finger on it. He was brought back to the Brotherhood for medical treatment. Upon awakening, he spoke in an odd language that no one knew. The power of the force was evident, lashing out to the people and objects in the room. He had to be restrained. Weeks went by, with little to no sign of improvement. He was awake; functioning, but his eyes.... his eyes told a different story. A man who had seen battle; a man who had risen to power; a man lost...

=== Emperor's Hammer and Dark Brotherhood Career (13 ABY - 15 ABY) ===

[[File:Tie_Fighter_Pilot_by_jamga.jpg|left|100px|thumb|TIE Pilot]]Omega joined the [[Emperor%27s_Hammer#TIE_Corps|Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps]], and excelled as a pilot. It was discovered he was force sensitive and sent to training with the Dark Brotherhood. Placed into House Ar'Kell, he shown aptitudes for both [[Sith|Sith]] and [[Obelisk|Obelisk]] orders. Eventually he was placed into the house leadership, after excelling in leadership with the TIE Corps and within his own house battle team. He went on to lead his own house, House Arora, under the guidance of Xar Kerensky. He was also promoted to Rear Admiral of a VSD within the Emperor's Hammer fleet.

=== Dark Jedi Brotherhood Reinstatement (38 ABY) ===

Omega furthered his studies in the force through the New Imperium. There he was an essential member of the founding fathers of that group. He excelled in leadership.. He was lost in battle, and found by Telaris Cantor on Yavin IV. At the suggestion of his Master Howlader; Omega took leave and headed off for the planet [[Frigg|Frigg]]. A planet known as the home base of the rebels of the New Imperium. The palace of Ravenspyre laid in ruins, yet it felt like home to him. Something awoke in Omega, when he reached the ruins of the palace, and his memory flooded back to him. There was very little left in the rubble of the destroyed palace. Omega found a single [[starwars:holocron|holocron]], containing brief information of his past. He knew where his loyalties lie. The NI had left him to die; and the DJB had brought him back.

==== New Beginings ====
Without any record of his past existing in the official database, Omega decided the best option would be to start at the beginning. Complete each rank and task set forth by his Master [[Howlader]]. He has progressed through the ranks rather quickly, which is not surprising. He currently sits as Battle Team Leader for [[The_Harbingers|Battle Team Harbingers]], in [[Dinaari|House Dinaari]] of [[Taldryan|Clan Taldryan]].

== Physical Appearance ==
Omega is of average height for a human. He has brown hair though it is rare he is without "cover". His eyes are gray/green, though many have sworn they change colour. He typically wears his facial hair in a short beard trimmed just below jaw line. Omega pride's himself in being stronger than he appears.

== Personality and Traits ==
Omega is generally a calm human. He is tactile when he talks. He generally believes that everything is a game of skill and tact. It's probably what makes him ideal for leadership. He has a tendency to attack full on when presented a challenge. For him it's either 100% or it's not done. He has a strong devotion to others. He is generous to a fault, caring more about other's progression than his own. Coffee, by far is his biggest motivator. If you want on his good side; bring him a strong black cup of it.

== Powers and Abilities ==
The powers with the force are undeniable, driven even higher when he is upset or angry. His piloting skills are superb, even if he prefers not to fly himself.
