== Character History ==

===What's in a name?===
The name “Lokasena” comes from two Saleucami words. The word “Locha”, which means lake. And the word “senar”, which means calm or tranquil. His name can be translated in “Lake of tranquillity” or even “Peaceful water”.
The last name of Corvinus comes from a long line of men, in service of the Concordance. It is the name of their family emblem which sows a bird of prey.

===The early years===
Born on Saleucami, three years after the battle of Yavin, Lokasena was the son of a prominent member of the Lazarus Concordance. A ruthless and efficient organized crime syndicate. Claiming to enforce government policy, the Concordance blackmailed all who opposed the politicians that paid for their services.

Corvinus was taken from his home world at a very young age. Resettled on a distant and unnamed forest planet, Lokasena was trained to become one of the Concordance’s best enforcers. Thrown into a pit of wolves to fight for survival, Sena flourished.

===The Lazarus project===
One year after the battle of Yavin, the government of Saleucami decided to create a group that could come up with answers against the population’s growing turmoil. The many brilliant men in that group could also be counted upon to keep their mouths shut until they did come up with those answers. And so the Clerics came to be, led by a man named Maximillian Caesar.

Seeing that this group would need to continue its work long after the then present government would end its term, it was made an ongoing “black project”. Untraceable, unaccountable to congress or even succeeding administrations. People new that this project was real. Ministers and officials often tried to end this project. More than once by force. Yet somehow it always survived any process designed to purge it. This earned it the name Lazarus.

Now the Lazarus Concordance was free to act as it willed. Operating on its own, unaccountable to anyone, as judge, jury and executioner. Following their motto’s; “In time of war, the law falls silent.” The Concordance reveled in their belief that Caesar could do no wrong!

===Adolescence===
At the age of 16 he entered the fighting cages. Lazarus Concordance officials wagered high amounts on the outcome of these fights. These high placed men and women soon learned that it was prudent to bet on Lokasena’s victory.
At 18, Sena was still the undefeated champion of the cage. Noticing that he was always a bit faster or stronger that his opponents, he sought new challenges. One of the syndicate under-bosses, a man named Greython Tellor, saw Lokasena’s potential.

===Medical training===
“Welcome, Lokasena.” The old man said as Sena entered the room. Greython Tellor had been Sena’s mentor for some time now. He trusted him.

“Let me introduce you to Dr. Willard. He will guide you in your medical training.”

Lokasena looked at the new face. It was a fairly young man, although stress and long hours had formed deep wrinkles on his forehead. As he extended his hand in politeness, Sena could not help but notice that Willard’s hand was ice cold. “A pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.” Willard said in a raspy voice. “I hear good things about you. Mr Tellor tells me you have an interest in the sciences.” “Yes, I do…” “Excellent! You will accompany me to our teaching facility. We’ll make a scientist out of you yet.”

Months of intense studying and exams followed. Lokasena proved to be an exemplary student. His only problem was respecting those who, in Sena’s eyes, were wrong.

“Hey Sena!”

Corvinus turned to see Elim run towards his, down a hospital corridor. Elim had been his fellow student, he was training to be a cleric as well.

“How can I help you today, Elim?” The dark haired young man halted in front of him, catching his breath. “How did you know? Ah well, anyway… I was wondering if you could look at this patient chart for me. I just can’t seem to pinpoint his genetic defect.”
Lokasena took the chart and studied it for a moment.

“Heart, lung, liver and kidney failure… He won’t last long!” Sena said when he finally looked up again. “Actually, it’s a she.” Elim smiled smug.

“Ah… well, unless you believe the problem to be in her genitals or hormones, that information is irrelevant.” Corvinus dropped another glance at the chart. “You need to put her on broad-spectrum antibiotics for the infection.”

Elim frowned. “I already ruled out infection! No fever, no elevated white count in her blood.”

“That’s fascinating!” Sena replied. “And if you hadn’t pumped her full of immuno-suppressants I’d be surprised..” “But her immune system was attacking her body…”

“NO…!” Sena interrupted. “The infection is attacking her organs. We need a lung biopsy to see which of the 10 million bugs is killing her.”

“If I biopsy her now, she’ll go into effusion.” Elim snapped as Lokasena raised an eyebrow and sighed. “Very well. Go tell her that she’ll die because her doctor is a coward! No? Then get me a piece of her lung, now!”

“You better do as he says, Elim. Sena has the tendency to be right about these things.”

Dr. Willard walked up to the young men. Elim nodded and then turned to make his way back to his patient.

“That was a solid call, Sena. Yet again… I think you’ve learned all you can here.” Willard smiled at Corvinus. “I heard you were interested in bio-mechanics. That field is wide open for you, if you want it.” Lokasena felt a rush of relief come over him. “Yes sir, very much…”
“But why, Sena? Why take on a whole new specialty now?” Sena’s answer was short.
“More research, less people.”

And so Lokasena’s experimentation with bio-mechanics began. A Knowledge that would serve him well, in the future.

Afterwards, Tellor promoted the young fighter to official Concordance Cleric. In his new position, Lokasena was entrusted with sensitive information about the inner workings of the Lazarus hierarchy. He was implanted with a cortical stimulator. The device was designed to trigger the production of vast amount of natural endorphins in Sena’s body. The idea was to make the subjects immune to pain, should they ever be captured and tortured.

===Adulthood===
Years went by, and at the age of 24, Sena proved to be an exemplary Cleric.
Conflict within the ranks of the Clerics grew. Fingers were being pointed at Corvinus. Especially by Elim, his colleague and friend.
Therefore the Concordance set Lokasena up for a trap. He was sent to a penal colony as an enforcer to administrative policy. There he was in charge of security.

One day, a group of prisoners high jacked a transport. As the transport left orbit, Sena gave the order to destroy it.
With a single blast, the transport was destroyed. Killing the escaped prisoners.
Unfortunately for Lokasena, one of the crew members on board the transport had been the daughter of syndicate boss within the Concordance.

Sena was stripped of his rank and position. He underwent immediate surgery, were the cortical implant was removed. Sena was throw in to an isolation cell. His body had become accustomed to the higher endorphins in his blood. With the implant removed, Sena went into withdrawal. His senses were obscured by the darkness of his cell. After a long period of pain and suffering, Sena had finally built up enough hate to break free of his confinement. Single-handedly he killed everyone in the prison complex and fled to the far reaches of space.

===A new beginning (Thinker, Fighter, Spy)===
He knew that this hate inside him was fueling him. He needed to find a place where people were like him. He finally reached the Dark Brotherhood and was accepted as a member. Amongst his brethren, Sena felt powerful. He felt at home.

Later, after the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion, Lokasena decided that a cranial implant did have its uses. If he were ever captured, it would prevent him from succumbing to torture. With knowledge of his previous implant and help from the extensive Brotherhood Databanks, Lokasena created a new implant. Far more effective and dangerous. It will render him fairly immune to pain, given that the pain is induced over long periods of time.

Short bursts of pain, such as injuries in battle, can still be felt however. The implant can no longer be removed, not without killing Lokasena. This feature makes him the ideal person to entrust with sensitive information.

===Love, hate and The Great Jedi War===

The young Dark Jedi was as surprised as anyone by the sudden [[Yuuzhan Vong Incursion]] into Brotherhood space.
Lokasena was on board of the Dark Prophet when the Taldryan fleet was attacked. Together with Komari Vossa, a team mate and old friend, he escaped to the Katarn, seconds after the Dark Prophet exploded. Corvinus had been attacked by a captured Yuuzhan Vong in the Katarn’s morgue. The Vong had stabbed him in the back. The wound healed, but the scar can still be seen.

On board the Katarn he and Komari helped track down a Vong intruder. They were able to corner the enemy until superior Taldryan forces arrived. It was on that ship, during the Vong attack, that Sena and Komari shared their first kiss. Their love was passionate but short. Komari was killed in another Yuuzhan Vong engagement. Lokasena grieved deeply over his loss. There are those who claim that Sena created his cranial implant to ease the pain of loss.

=== Sena returns a favour ===
“So, we have found you at last!” Lokasena’s voice was calm and relaxed as the bitter cold winds tore at the trees surrounding him.

“How did you do it, Corvinus? How could you possibly know where to find me?” Greython Tellor asked with trembling lips.

From above, a small, black bird sat on Lokasena’s shoulder. “A little bird told us…” Sena smirked.

“But why would you even come back here?” Tellor whimpered.

“Revenge, Tellor. Revenge for what you made me.” Corvinus’ brow furled and his jaw clenched.

“What I made you? I never had to make you! You were always what you are know. Calm, tempered and forgiving…” Lokasena recognised that Tellor was pleading for his life.

“Besides, my sources tell me you became a Jedi. Killing is not the Jedi way.” Tears were running down the man’s face.

“By the Gods, how the mighty have fallen! There was a time when your spy network was reliable, but not any longer. They were only half right.” the Dark Jedi Knight replied as his Lightsaber flared its purple blade.

Before Tellor could say another word, his head lay next to his body. The swing of the blade did not even upset the Corvus, who still sat content on Sena’s shoulder. “Come my little friend, our bones are chilled and our stomachs are growling. Let us seek food and refuge for the night.” Corvus crowed his approval and the both made for the cover of the forest.

After Komari’s untimely demise, Lokasena concentrated most of his attention to his late lover’s younger sister. In the beginning, [[Asani Vosa]] was very young and naïve. They supported each other after Komari’s death. Vowing to himself that he would never let such a terrible tragedy befall him again, Lokasena took Asani under his wing of protection. Sena even supported Asani when she decided to leave Taldryan. They remain the best of friends, even though they are in separate clans.

From the very beginning, Lokasena has hunted many times in the forests of Taruma. Hunting for the Great Wolves of Saleucami, which he brought to Taruma for sport and training. On one such ventures, Sena found a young, wounded Jackdaw. Although the birds usually are an omen of death, Sena took pity on the bird and nurtured it back to health.

Corvus, as the animal was named, usually sits on his master’s shoulder. Lokasena has been seen talking to the bird. Sometimes it even appears that the birds speaks to its master. Whether this is in fact the case, or simply an example of another Krath gone round the bend, is still open to debate. But when carrying Corvus, Sena always refers to himself in the plural form. To Corvinus, Corvus is an equal.

When conflict arises, Corvus will circle above untill the danger has passed.

===Forged in lightening and tempered in blood===

Lokasena's primary weapon is his Mormegill sword. It was given to him by the Lazarus Concordance after slaying a Balvarine with his bare hands. The sword was forged with lightening and tempered in the blood of the beast he slew. This process gave the blade its characteristic, black color.
Mormegill is always at Lokasena’s side. Even after attaining his Lightsaber, Corvinus always caries his black blade in a sheath on his left hip.
The sword has brought him many a victory in battle, so it represent far more than jut a weapon. It represents strength of spirit, courage of heart and peace of mind.

The only thing that can penetrate the cloak is an active, focused tachyon detection beam.

Due to the immense power consumption of the cloak, the Lynx can not fire it’s weapons or raise its shields until the cloak is deactivated. This feature makes it also suitable as a first-strike attack fighter.

The Corvinus family and Lazarus Concordance educate their members well. Since as far back as two thousand years, Sena can track his family’s heritage. In all that time, their beliefs have never changed, only their convictions.

Lokasena prays to only one deity. The Goddess Skadi has a central position in Sena’s life. She is the Goddess of winter and hunting, two things that Sena knows a lot about. The hunt has always driven him. Sometimes the hunt for answers, other times the hunt for enemies. He knows how to survive in the wild and keep his own presence almost unnoticed.

Winter is a term that holds a lot of meaning for Lokasena. He sees it as a perfect state of being. Cold, detached, calculating, unforgiving and in control of the elements.
It is rumoured that Sena has seen Skadi in a vision. In this vision, She took him as her servant. The Clerical lifestyle has always appealed to Sena and he strives to become a Priest for his Goddess. His words may be friendly, but his heart has become cold as ice.

A Balvarine den is lead by it’s matriarch, which is the strongest and largest female. At a certain age, due to hormones, the matriarch’s fur turns white. Balvarines are very intelligent. Some have even been known to understand the tongues of men. Lokasena has often fought these vicious creatures. Always using his Mormegill or bare hands.
*Killing a Balvarine with a Lightsaber is near to impossible. Balvarines seem to have an instinctive fear for Lightsabers. When they know a warrior carries one, they will simply hide deep in their lairs. And Lightsaber or not, no one in their right minds would want to step into a Balvarine lair.

Lokasena was on board of the Dark Prophet when the Taldryan fleet was attacked. Together with Komari Vossa, a team mate and old friend, he escaped to the Katarn, seconds after the Dark Prophet exploded. Corvinus had been attacked by a captured Yuuzhan Vong in the Katarn’s morgue. The Vong had stabbed him in the back. The wound healed, but the scar can still be seen.

On board the Katarn he and Komari helped track down a Vong intruder. They were able to corner the enemy until superior Taldryan forces arrived. It was on that ship, during the Vong attack, that Sena and Komari shared their first kiss. Their love was passionate but short. Komari was killed in another Yuuzhan Vong engagement. Lokasena grieved deeply over his loss. There are those who claim that Sena created his cranial implant to ease the pain of loss.

“By the Gods, how the mighty have fallen! There was a time when your spy network was reliable, but not any longer. They were only half right.” the Dark Jedi Knight replied as his Lightsaber flared its purple blade.

Before Tellor could say another word, his head lay next to his body. The swing of the blade did not even upset the Corvus, who still sat content on Sena’s shoulder. “Come my little friend, our bones are chilled and our stomachs are growling. Let us seek food and refuge for the night.” Corvus crowed his approval and the both made for the cover of the forest.

On one such ventures, Sena found a young, wounded Jackdaw. Although the birds usually are an omen of death, Sena took pity on the bird and nurtured it back to health.

Corvus, as the animal was named, usually sits on his master’s shoulder. Lokasena has been seen talking to the bird. Sometimes it even appears that the birds speaks to its master. To Corvinus, Corvus is an equal.

== Character History ==
===The early years===
Born on Saleucami, three years after the battle of Yavin, Lokasena was the son of a prominent member of the Lazarus Concordance. A ruthless and efficient organized crime syndicate. Claiming to enforce government policy, the Concordance blackmailed all who opposed the politicians that paid for their services.

Corvinus was taken from his home world at a very young age. Resettled on a distant and unnamed forest planet, Lokasena was trained to become one of the Concordance’s best enforcers. Thrown into a pit of wolves to fight for survival, Sena flourished.

===The Lazarus project===
One year after the battle of Yavin, the government of Saleucami decided to create a group that could come up with answers against the population’s growing turmoil. The many brilliant men in that group could also be counted upon to keep their mouths shut until they did come up with those answers. And so the Clerics came to be, led by a man named Maximillian Caesar.

Seeing that this group would need to continue its work long after the then present government would end its term, it was made an ongoing “black project”. Untraceable, unaccountable to congress or even succeeding administrations. People new that this project was real. Ministers and officials often tried to end this project. More than once by force. Yet somehow it always survived any process designed to purge it. This earned it the name Lazarus.

Now the Lazarus Concordance was free to act as it willed. Operating on its own, unaccountable to anyone, as judge, jury and executioner. Following their motto’s; “In time of war, the law falls silent.” The Concordance reveled in their belief that Caesar could do no wrong!

===Adolescence===
At the age of 16 he entered the fighting cages. Lazarus Concordance officials wagered high amounts on the outcome of these fights. These high placed men and women soon learned that it was prudent to bet on Lokasena’s victory.
At 18, Sena was still the undefeated champion of the cage. Noticing that he was always a bit faster or stronger that his opponents, he sought new challenges. One of the syndicate under-bosses, a man named Greython Tellor, saw Lokasena’s potential.

===Medical training===
“Welcome, Lokasena.” The old man said as Sena entered the room. Greython Tellor had been Sena’s mentor for some time now. He trusted him.

“Let me introduce you to Dr. Willard. He will guide you in your medical training.”

Lokasena looked at the new face. It was a fairly young man, although stress and long hours had formed deep wrinkles on his forehead. As he extended his hand in politeness, Sena could not help but notice that Willard’s hand was ice cold. “A pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.” Willard said in a raspy voice. “I hear good things about you. Mr Tellor tells me you have an interest in the sciences.” “Yes, I do…” “Excellent! You will accompany me to our teaching facility. We’ll make a scientist out of you yet.”

Months of intense studying and exams followed. Lokasena proved to be an exemplary student. His only problem was respecting those who, in Sena’s eyes, were wrong.

“Hey Sena!”

Corvinus turned to see Elim run towards his, down a hospital corridor. Elim had been his fellow student, he was training to be a cleric as well.

“How can I help you today, Elim?” The dark haired young man halted in front of him, catching his breath. “How did you know? Ah well, anyway… I was wondering if you could look at this patient chart for me. I just can’t seem to pinpoint his genetic defect.”
Lokasena took the chart and studied it for a moment.

“Heart, lung, liver and kidney failure… He won’t last long!” Sena said when he finally looked up again. “Actually, it’s a she.” Elim smiled smug.

“Ah… well, unless you believe the problem to be in her genitals or hormones, that information is irrelevant.” Corvinus dropped another glance at the chart. “You need to put her on broad-spectrum antibiotics for the infection.”

Elim frowned. “I already ruled out infection! No fever, no elevated white count in her blood.”

“That’s fascinating!” Sena replied. “And if you hadn’t pumped her full of immuno-suppressants I’d be surprised..” “But her immune system was attacking her body…”

“NO…!” Sena interrupted. “The infection is attacking her organs. We need a lung biopsy to see which of the 10 million bugs is killing her.”

“If I biopsy her now, she’ll go into effusion.” Elim snapped as Lokasena raised an eyebrow and sighed. “Very well. Go tell her that she’ll die because her doctor is a coward! No? Then get me a piece of her lung, now!”

“You better do as he says, Elim. Sena has the tendency to be right about these things.”

Dr. Willard walked up to the young men. Elim nodded and then turned to make his way back to his patient.

“That was a solid call, Sena. Yet again… I think you’ve learned all you can here.” Willard smiled at Corvinus. “I heard you were interested in bio-mechanics. That field is wide open for you, if you want it.” Lokasena felt a rush of relief come over him. “Yes sir, very much…”
“But why, Sena? Why take on a whole new specialty now?” Sena’s answer was short.
“More research, less people.”

And so Lokasena’s experimentation with bio-mechanics began. A Knowledge that would serve him well, in the future.

Afterwards, Tellor promoted the young fighter to official Concordance Cleric. In his new position, Lokasena was entrusted with sensitive information about the inner workings of the Lazarus hierarchy. He was implanted with a cortical stimulator. The device was designed to trigger the production of vast amount of natural endorphins in Sena’s body. The idea was to make the subjects immune to pain, should they ever be captured and tortured.

===Adulthood===
Years went by, and at the age of 24, Sena proved to be an exemplary Cleric.
Conflict within the ranks of the Clerics grew. Fingers were being pointed at Corvinus. Especially by Elim, his colleague and friend.
Therefore the Concordance set Lokasena up for a trap. He was sent to a penal colony as an enforcer to administrative policy. There he was in charge of security.

One day, a group of prisoners high jacked a transport. As the transport left orbit, Sena gave the order to destroy it.
With a single blast, the transport was destroyed. Killing the escaped prisoners.
Unfortunately for Lokasena, one of the crew members on board the transport had been the daughter of syndicate boss within the Concordance.

Sena was stripped of his rank and position. He underwent immediate surgery, were the cortical implant was removed. Sena was throw in to an isolation cell. His body had become accustomed to the higher endorphins in his blood. With the implant removed, Sena went into withdrawal. His senses were obscured by the darkness of his cell. After a long period of pain and suffering, Sena had finally built up enough hate to break free of his confinement. Single-handedly he killed everyone in the prison complex and fled to the far reaches of space.

===A new beginning (Thinker, Fighter, Spy)===
He knew that this hate inside him was fueling him. He needed to find a place where people were like him. He finally reached the Dark Brotherhood and was accepted as a member. Amongst his brethren, Sena felt powerful. He felt at home.

Later, after the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion, Lokasena decided that a cranial implant did have its uses. If he were ever captured, it would prevent him from succumbing to torture. With knowledge of his previous implant and help from the extensive Brotherhood Databanks, Lokasena created a new implant. Far more effective and dangerous. It will render him fairly immune to pain, given that the pain is induced over long periods of time.

This meant that all fit Bothans were encouraged to volunteer to defend their species form annihilation. This is where Shelsar had her first taste of military life.

In the 3rd year of her service, the Hosk came across an strangely marked Victory II-class Star Destroyer. Sounding general quarters, the Hosk went to immediate battle readiness. Shelsar was on the bridge as the two vessels engaged in combat. The Hosk was crippled and the Bothan security forces did not stand a chance against the mysterious intruders as they boarded the Assault Cruiser. Superior Taldryan forces swept through the vessel within and hour.

Shelsar escaped in an ejection pod and crash landed on a jungle planet unknown to her. She activated the pod’s distress beacon and was soon found by the planet’s inhabitants. For she had landed on Taruma, home to the House Ektrosis of Taldryan. Shelsar was clever enough not to reveal her position within the New Republic. Instead she claimed to be a crew member of a freighter which had been destroyed by an unknown vessel. The Ektrosis Battle Team Leader who had found her, assumed that it been his own comrades whom might have been responsible for this woman’s misfortune, but chose not to volunteer that information to Mer’skr. With both parties withholding information that would otherwise have made them enemies, the arrived at a stalemate position.

Choosing not to begin a (perhaps profitable) relationship with mistrust, both parties accepted the other’s explanation. Shelsar was allowed to stay with Ektrosis out of her own free will. After a few proficiency tests, she was noticed by the [[Taldryan Naval Service]]. They offered the opportunity to prove herself aboard a military vessel.

Shelsar saw an opportunity to align herself with this powerful yet mysterious group of so called “Dark Jedi”, and she took it. The Brotherhood initially encorporated many things that Bothans hold dear. This could be and explanation as to why service to Taldryan held such great appeal for her.

During the Yuuzhan Vong incursion into Brotherhood space, Shelsar provided the Taldryan fleet command with valuable information on the Vong’s capabilities.

This earned her a commission as Captain and she was given command of the Frigate Vengeance in the Battle Group Vanguard.

==Appearance==

Despite the fact that interspecies attraction rarely occurs with Bothans, one would have to be blind not to notice the appealing physique of Captain Mer’skr. Her fur is always groomed and shiny. Hygiene seems to be very important to her.

Her face, if not wearing her many political masks, is gentle and seems to air a level of trust. Shelsar always encourages her crew to speak with her directly, should something be on their minds. She enforces order onboard the Vengeance, but more through understanding than tyranny.

This atmosphere of trust and openness is a great asset to the Vengeance. It’s crew operates as a well oiled machine. Her Captain being respected from the second in command to the cook 3rd class, who cleans the galley.

== Character History ==
===The early years===
Born on Saleucami, three years after the battle of Yavin, Lokasena was the son of a prominent member of the Lazarus Concordance. A ruthless and efficient organized crime syndicate. Claiming to enforce government policy, the Concordance blackmailed all who opposed the politicians that paid for their services.

Corvinus was taken from his home world at a very young age. Resettled on a distant and unnamed forest planet, Lokasena was trained to become one of the Concordance’s best enforcers. Thrown into a pit of wolves to fight for survival, Sena flourished.

===The Lazarus project===
One year after the battle of Yavin, the government of Saleucami decided to create a group that could come up with answers against the population’s growing turmoil. The many brilliant men in that group could also be counted upon to keep their mouths shut until they did come up with those answers. And so the Clerics came to be, led by a man named Maximillian Caesar.

Seeing that this group would need to continue its work long after the then present government would end its term, it was made an ongoing “black project”. Untraceable, unaccountable to congress or even succeeding administrations. People new that this project was real. Ministers and officials often tried to end this project. More than once by force. Yet somehow it always survived any process designed to purge it. This earned it the name Lazarus.

Now the Lazarus Concordance was free to act as it willed. Operating on its own, unaccountable to anyone, as judge, jury and executioner. Following their motto’s; “In time of war, the law falls silent.” The Concordance reveled in their belief that Caesar could do no wrong!

===Adolescence===
At the age of 16 he entered the fighting cages. Lazarus Concordance officials wagered high amounts on the outcome of these fights. These high placed men and women soon learned that it was prudent to bet on Lokasena’s victory.
At 18, Sena was still the undefeated champion of the cage. Noticing that he was always a bit faster or stronger that his opponents, he sought new challenges. One of the syndicate under-bosses, a man named Greython Tellor, saw Lokasena’s potential.

===Medical training===
“Welcome, Lokasena.” The old man said as Sena entered the room. Greython Tellor had been Sena’s mentor for some time now. He trusted him.

“Let me introduce you to Dr. Willard. He will guide you in your medical training.”

Lokasena looked at the new face. It was a fairly young man, although stress and long hours had formed deep wrinkles on his forehead. As he extended his hand in politeness, Sena could not help but notice that Willard’s hand was ice cold. “A pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.” Willard said in a raspy voice. “I hear good things about you. Mr Tellor tells me you have an interest in the sciences.” “Yes, I do…” “Excellent! You will accompany me to our teaching facility. We’ll make a scientist out of you yet.”

Months of intense studying and exams followed. Lokasena proved to be an exemplary student. His only problem was respecting those who, in Sena’s eyes, were wrong.

“Hey Sena!”

Corvinus turned to see Elim run towards his, down a hospital corridor. Elim had been his fellow student, he was training to be a cleric as well.

“How can I help you today, Elim?” The dark haired young man halted in front of him, catching his breath. “How did you know? Ah well, anyway… I was wondering if you could look at this patient chart for me. I just can’t seem to pinpoint his genetic defect.”
Lokasena took the chart and studied it for a moment.

“Heart, lung, liver and kidney failure… He won’t last long!” Sena said when he finally looked up again. “Actually, it’s a she.” Elim smiled smug.

“Ah… well, unless you believe the problem to be in her genitals or hormones, that information is irrelevant.” Corvinus dropped another glance at the chart. “You need to put her on broad-spectrum antibiotics for the infection.”

Elim frowned. “I already ruled out infection! No fever, no elevated white count in her blood.”

“That’s fascinating!” Sena replied. “And if you hadn’t pumped her full of immuno-suppressants I’d be surprised..” “But her immune system was attacking her body…”

“NO…!” Sena interrupted. “The infection is attacking her organs. We need a lung biopsy to see which of the 10 million bugs is killing her.”

“If I biopsy her now, she’ll go into effusion.” Elim snapped as Lokasena raised an eyebrow and sighed. “Very well. Go tell her that she’ll die because her doctor is a coward! No? Then get me a piece of her lung, now!”

“You better do as he says, Elim. Sena has the tendency to be right about these things.”

Dr. Willard walked up to the young men. Elim nodded and then turned to make his way back to his patient.

“That was a solid call, Sena. Yet again… I think you’ve learned all you can here.” Willard smiled at Corvinus. “I heard you were interested in bio-mechanics. That field is wide open for you, if you want it.” Lokasena felt a rush of relief come over him. “Yes sir, very much…”
“But why, Sena? Why take on a whole new specialty now?” Sena’s answer was short.
“More research, less people.”

And so Lokasena’s experimentation with bio-mechanics began. A Knowledge that would serve him well, in the future.

Afterwards, Tellor promoted the young fighter to official Concordance Cleric. In his new position, Lokasena was entrusted with sensitive information about the inner workings of the Lazarus hierarchy. He was implanted with a cortical stimulator. The device was designed to trigger the production of vast amount of natural endorphins in Sena’s body. The idea was to make the subjects immune to pain, should they ever be captured and tortured.

===Adulthood===
Years went by, and at the age of 24, Sena proved to be an exemplary Cleric.
Conflict within the ranks of the Clerics grew. Fingers were being pointed at Corvinus. Especially by Elim, his colleague and friend.
Therefore the Concordance set Lokasena up for a trap. He was sent to a penal colony as an enforcer to administrative policy. There he was in charge of security.

One day, a group of prisoners high jacked a transport. As the transport left orbit, Sena gave the order to destroy it.
With a single blast, the transport was destroyed. Killing the escaped prisoners.
Unfortunately for Lokasena, one of the crew members on board the transport had been the daughter of syndicate boss within the Concordance.

Sena was stripped of his rank and position. He underwent immediate surgery, were the cortical implant was removed. Sena was throw in to an isolation cell. His body had become accustomed to the higher endorphins in his blood. With the implant removed, Sena went into withdrawal. His senses were obscured by the darkness of his cell. After a long period of pain and suffering, Sena had finally built up enough hate to break free of his confinement. Single-handedly he killed everyone in the prison complex and fled to the far reaches of space.

===A new beginning (Thinker, Fighter, Spy)===
He knew that this hate inside him was fueling him. He needed to find a place where people were like him. He finally reached the Dark Brotherhood and was accepted as a member. Amongst his brethren, Sena felt powerful. He felt at home.

Later, after the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion, Lokasena decided that a cranial implant did have its uses. If he were ever captured, it would prevent him from succumbing to torture. With knowledge of his previous implant and help from the extensive Brotherhood Databanks, Lokasena created a new implant. Far more effective and dangerous. It will render him fairly immune to pain, given that the pain is induced over long periods of time.

Short bursts of pain, such as injuries in battle, can still be felt however. The implant can no longer be removed, not without killing Lokasena. This feature makes him the ideal person to entrust with sensitive information.

===Love, hate and The Great Jedi War===

The young Dark Jedi was as surprised as anyone by the sudden [[Yuuzhan Vong Incursion]] into Brotherhood space.
Lokasena was on board of the Dark Prophet when the Taldryan fleet was attacked. Together with Komari Vossa, a team mate and old friend, he escaped to the Katarn, seconds after the Dark Prophet exploded. Corvinus had been attacked by a captured Yuuzhan Vong in the Katarn’s morgue. The Vong had stabbed him in the back. The wound healed, but the scar can still be seen.

On board the Katarn he and Komari helped track down a Vong intruder. They were able to corner the enemy until superior Taldryan forces arrived. It was on that ship, during the Vong attack, that Sena and Komari shared their first kiss. Their love was passionate but short. Komari was killed in another Yuuzhan Vong engagement. Lokasena grieved deeply over his loss. There are those who claim that Sena created his cranial implant to ease the pain of loss.

=== Sena returns a favour ===
“So, we have found you at last!” Lokasena’s voice was calm and relaxed as the bitter cold winds tore at the trees surrounding him.

“How did you do it, Corvinus? How could you possibly know where to find me?” Greython Tellor asked with trembling lips.

From above, a small, black bird sat on Lokasena’s shoulder. “A little bird told us…” Sena smirked.

“But why would you even come back here?” Tellor whimpered.

“Revenge, Tellor. Revenge for what you made me.” Corvinus’ brow furled and his jaw clenched.

“What I made you? I never had to make you! You were always what you are know. Calm, tempered and forgiving…” Lokasena recognised that Tellor was pleading for his life.

“Besides, my sources tell me you became a Jedi. Killing is not the Jedi way.” Tears were running down the man’s face.

“By the Gods, how the mighty have fallen! There was a time when your spy network was reliable, but not any longer. They were only half right.” the Dark Jedi Knight replied as his Lightsaber flared its purple blade.

Before Tellor could say another word, his head lay next to his body. The swing of the blade did not even upset the Corvus, who still sat content on Sena’s shoulder. “Come my little friend, our bones are chilled and our stomachs are growling. Let us seek food and refuge for the night.” Corvus crowed his approval and the both made for the cover of the forest.

After Komari’s untimely demise, Lokasena concentrated most of his attention to his late lover’s younger sister. In the beginning, [[Asani Vosa]] was very young and naïve. They supported each other after Komari’s death. Vowing to himself that he would never let such a terrible tragedy befall him again, Lokasena took Asani under his wing of protection. Sena even supported Asani when she decided to leave Taldryan. They remain the best of friends, even though they are in separate clans.

From the very beginning, Lokasena has hunted many times in the forests of Taruma. Hunting for the Great Wolves of Saleucami, which he brought to Taruma for sport and training. On one such ventures, Sena found a young, wounded Jackdaw. Although the birds usually are an omen of death, Sena took pity on the bird and nurtured it back to health.

Corvus, as the animal was named, usually sits on his master’s shoulder. Lokasena has been seen talking to the bird. Sometimes it even appears that the birds speaks to its master. Whether this is in fact the case, or simply an example of another Krath gone round the bend, is still open to debate. But when carrying Corvus, Sena always refers to himself in the plural form. To Corvinus, Corvus is an equal.

When conflict arises, Corvus will circle above untill the danger has passed.

===Forged in lightening and tempered in blood===

Lokasena's primary weapon is his Mormegill sword. It was given to him by the Lazarus Concordance after slaying a Balvarine with his bare hands. The sword was forged with lightening and tempered in the blood of the beast he slew. This process gave the blade its characteristic, black color.

===Lightsaber===
Corvinus' first saber is very important to him. He quickly learned to wield it in the ancient duelist form.

Originally created by the Lazarus Concordance as a covert scout vessel, the Lynx is equipped with a quantum wave field cloaking device. This device is powered by the contained quantum singularity within the ship’s engines. It allows the vessel to become completely invisible to the naked eye as well as most scanners and senor arrays. The only thing that can penetrate the cloak is an active, focused tachyon detection beam. Due to the immense power consumption of the cloak, the Lynx can not fire it’s weapons or raise its shields until the cloak is deactivated. This feature makes it also suitable as a first-strike attack fighter.

*Born on Saleucami, three years after the battle of Yavin, Lokasena was the son of a prominent member of the Lazarus Concordance. A ruthless and efficient organized crime syndicate. Claiming to enforce government policy, the Concordance blackmailed all who opposed the politicians that paid for their services.
Corvinus was taken from his home world at a very young age. Resettled on a distant and unnamed forest planet, Lokasena was trained to become one of the Concordance’s best enforcers. Thrown into a pit of wolves to fight for survival, Sena flourished.

===The Lazarus project===

*Some 1 year after the battle of Yavin, the government of Saleucami decided to create a group that could come up with answers against the population’s growing turmoil.
The many brilliant men in that group could also be counted upon to keep their mouths shut until they did come up with those answers. And so the Clerics came to be, led by a man named Maximillian Caesar.
Seeing that this group would need to continue its work long after the then present government would end its term, it was made an ongoing “black project”. Untraceable, unaccountable to congress or even succeeding administrations.
*People new that this project was real. Ministers and officials often tried to end this project. More than once by force. Yet somehow it always survived any process designed to purge it. This earned it the name Lazarus.
Now the Lazarus Concordance was free to act as it willed. Operating on its own, unaccountable to anyone, as judge, jury and executioner. Following their motto’s; “In time of war, the law falls silent.” The Concordance revelled in their belief that Caesar could do no wrong!

===Adolescence===

*At the age of 16 he entered the fighting cages. Lazarus Concordance officials wagered high amounts on the outcome of these fights. These high placed men and women soon learned that it was prudent to bet on Lokasena’s victory.
At 18, Sena was still the undefeated champion of the cage. Noticing that he was always a bit faster or stronger that his opponents, he sought new challenges.

*One of the syndicate under-bosses, a man named Greython Tellor, saw Lokasena’s potential.
===Medical training===

“Welcome, Lokasena.” The old man said as Sena entered the room. Greython Tellor had been Sena’s mentor for some time now. He trusted him.
“Let me introduce you to Dr. Willard. He will guide you in your medical training.”
Lokasena looked at the new face. It was a fairly young man, although stress and long hours had formed deep wrinkles on his forehead. As he extended his hand in politeness, Sena could not help but notice that Willard’s hand was ice cold. “A pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.” Willard said in a raspy voice. “I hear good things about you. Mr Tellor tells me you have an interest in the sciences.” “Yes, I do…” “Excellent! You will accompany me to our teaching facility. We’ll make a scientist out of you yet.”

Months of intense studying and exams followed. Lokasena proved to be an exemplary student. His only problem was respecting those who, in Sena’s eyes, were wrong.

“Hey Sena!”
Corvinus turned to see Elim run towards his, down a hospital corridor. Elim had been his fellow student, he was training to be a cleric as well.
“How can I help you today, Elim?” The dark haired young man halted in front of him, catching his breath. “How did you know? Ah well, anyway… I was wondering if you could look at this patient chart for me. I just can’t seem to pinpoint his genetic defect.”
Lokasena took the chart and studied it for a moment.
“Heart, lung, liver and kidney failure… He won’t last long!” Sena said when he finally looked up again. “Actually, it’s a she.” Elim smiled smug.
“Ah… well, unless you believe the problem to be in her genitals or hormones, that information is irrelevant.” Corvinus dropped another glance at the chart. “You need to put her on broad-spectrum antibiotics for the infection.”
Elim frowned. “I already ruled out infection! No fever, no elevated white count in her blood.”
“That’s fascinating!” Sena replied. “And if you hadn’t pumped her full of immuno-suppressants I’d be surprised..” “But her immune system was attacking her body…”
“NO…!” Sena interrupted. “The infection is attacking her organs. We need a lung biopsy to see which of the 10 million bugs is killing her.”
“If I biopsy her now, she’ll go into effusion.” Elim snapped as Lokasena raised an eyebrow and sighed. “Very well. Go tell her that she’ll die because her doctor is a coward! No? Then get me a piece of her lung, now!”

“You better do as he says, Elim. Sena has the tendency to be right about these things.”
Dr. Willard walked up to the young men. Elim nodded and then turned to make his way back to his patient.
“That was a solid call, Sena. Yet again… I think you’ve learned all you can here.” Willard smiled at Corvinus. “I heard you were interested in bio-mechanics. That field is wide open for you, if you want it.” Lokasena felt a rush of relief come over him. “Yes sir, very much…”
“But why, Sena? Why take on a whole new specialty now?” Sena’s answer was short.
“More research, less people.”

*And so Lokasena’s experimentation with bio-mechanics began.
*A Knowledge that would serve him well, in the future.

Afterwards, Tellor promoted the young fighter to official Concordance Cleric.
In his new position, Lokasena was entrusted with sensitive information about the inner workings of the Lazarus hierarchy. He was implanted with a cortical stimulator. The device was designed to trigger the production of vast amount of natural endorphins in Sena’s body. The idea was to make the subjects immune to pain, should they ever be captured and tortured.

===Adulthood===

*Years went by, and at the age of 24, Sena proved to be an exemplary Cleric.
Conflict within the ranks of the Clerics grew. Fingers were being pointed at Corvinus. Especially by Elim, his colleague and friend.
Therefore the Concordance set Lokasena up for a trap. He was sent to a penal colony as an enforcer to administrative policy. There he was in charge of security.
One day, a group of prisoners high jacked a transport. As the transport left orbit, Sena gave the order to destroy it.
With a single blast, the transport was destroyed. Killing the escaped prisoners.
Unfortunately for Lokasena, one of the crewmembers onboard the transport had been the daughter of syndicate boss within the Concordance.
Sena was stripped of his rank and position. He underwent immediate surgery, were the cortical implant was removed. Sena was throw in to an isolation cell. His body had become accustomed to the higher endorphins in his blood. With the implant removed, Sena went into withdrawal. His senses were obscured by the darkness of his cell.
After a long period of pain and suffering, Sena had finally built up enough hate to break free of his confinement. Single-handedly he killed everyone in the prison complex and fled to the far reaches of space.

===A new beginning (Thinker, Fighter, Spy)===

*He knew that this hate inside him was fuelling him. He needed to find a place where people were like him. He finally reached the Dark Brotherhood and was accepted as a member.
Amongst his brethren, Sena felt powerful. He felt at home.

*Later, after the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion, Lokasena decided that a cranial implant did have its uses. If he were ever captured, it would prevent him from succumbing to torture.
With knowledge of his previous implant and help from the extensive Brotherhood Databanks, Lokasena created a new implant. Far more effective and dangerous.
It renders him fairly immune to pain, given that the pain is induced over long periods of time.
Short bursts of pain, such as injuries in battle, can still be felt however.
The implant can no longer be removed, not without killing Lokasena. This feature makes him the ideal person to entrust with sensitive information.

===Love, hate and The Great Jedi War===

*The young Dark Jedi was as surprised as anyone by the sudden [[Yuuzhan Vong Incursion]] into Brotherhood space.
Lokasena was on board of the Dark Prophet when the Taldryan fleet was attacked. Together with Komari Vossa, a team mate and old friend, he escaped to the Katarn, seconds after the Dark Prophet exploded.
*Corvinus had been attacked by a captured Yuuzhan Vong in the Katarn’s morgue.
The Vong had stabbed him in the back. The wound healed, but the scar can still be seen.

*On board the Katarn he and Komari helped track down a Vong intruder. They were able to corner the enemy until superior Taldryan forces arrived.
It was on that ship, during the Vong attack, that Sena and Komari shared their first kiss.
Their love was passionate but short. Komari was killed in another Yuuzhan Vong engagement. Lokasena grieved deeply over his loss.
There are those who claim that Sena created his cranial implant to ease the pain of loss.

=== Sena returns a favour ===

“So, we have found you at last!” Lokasena’s voice was calm and relaxed as the bitter cold winds tore at the trees surrounding him.
“How did you do it, Corvinus? How could you possibly know where to find me?” Greython Tellor asked with trembling lips.
From above, a small, black bird sat on Lokasena’s shoulder. “A little bird told us…” Sena smirked.
“But why would you even come back here?” Tellor whimpered.
“Revenge, Tellor. Revenge for what you made me.” Corvinus’ brow furled and his jaw clenched.
“What I made you? I never had to make you! You were always what you are know. Calm, tempered and forgiving…” Lokasena recognised that Tellor was pleading for his life.
“Besides, my sources tell me you became a Jedi. Killing is not the Jedi way.” Tears were running down the man’s face.
“By the Gods, how the mighty have fallen! There was a time when your spy network was reliable, but not any longer. They were only half right.” the Dark Jedi Knight replied as his Lightsaber flared its purple blade.
Before Tellor could say another word, his head lay next to his body.
The swing of the blade did not even upset the Corvus, who still sat content on Sena’s shoulder. “Come my little friend, our bones are chilled and our stomachs are growling. Let us seek food and refuge for the night.” Corvus crowed his approval and the both made for the cover of the forest.

==The prodigal sister==

After Komari’s untimely demise, Lokasena concentrated most of his attention to his late lover’s younger sister.
In the beginning, Asani was very young and naïve. They supported each other after Komari’s death.
Vowing to himself that he would never let such a terrible tragedy befall him again, Lokasena took Asani under his wing of protection. Sena even supported Asani when she decided to leave Taldryan.
They remain the best of friends, even though they are in separate clans.

From the very beginning, Lokasena has hunted many times in the forests of Taruma.
Hunting for the Great Wolves of Saleucami, which he brought to Taruma for sport and training.
On one such ventures, Sena found a young, wounded Jackdaw.
Although the birds usually are an omen of death, Sena took pity on the bird and
nurtured it back to health.

Corvus, as the animal was named, usually sits on his master’s shoulder.
Lokasena has been seen talking to the bird. Sometimes it even appears that the birds speaks to its master.
Whether this is in fact the case, or simply an example of another Krath gone round the bend, is still open to debate. But when carrying Corvus, Sena always refers to himself in the plural form.
To Corvinus, Corvus is an equal.

When conflict arises, Corvus will circle above untill the danger has passed.

The sword was forged with lightening and tempered in the blood of the beast he slew.
This process gave the blade its characteristic, black colour.

Balvarines are a species native to the forest world where Lokasena grew up. They are a werewolf-like race.

At about 2 meters in height, with viscous claws and fangs, Balavrines are a formidable opponent to any warrior. Their saliva is highly corrosive.
A Balvarine den is lead by it’s matriarch, which is the strongest and largest female. At a certain age, due to hormones, the matriarch’s fur turns white.
Balvarines are very intelligent. Some have even been known to understand the tongues of men.
Lokasena has often fought these vicious creatures. Always using his Mormegill or bare hands.

Killing a Balvarine with a Lightsaber is near to impossible.
Balvarines seem to have an instinctive fear for Lightsabers.
When they know a warrior carries one, they will simply hide deep in their lairs.
And Lightsaber or not, no one in their right minds would want to step into a Balvarine lair.

From the very beginning, Lokasena has hunted many times in the forests of Taruma.
Hunting for the Great Wolves of Saleucami, which he brought to Taruma for sport and training.
On one such ventures, Sena found a young, wounded Jackdaw.
Although the birds usually are an omen of death, Sena took pity on the bird and
nurtured it back to health.

Corvus, as the animal was named, usually sits on his master’s shoulder.
Lokasena has been seen talking to the bird. Sometimes it even appears that the birds speaks to its master.

*Some 1 year after the battle of Yavin, the government of Saleucami decided to create a group that could come up with answers against the population’s growing turmoil.
The many brilliant men in that group could also be counted upon to keep their mouths shut until they did come up with those answers. And so the Clerics came to be, led by a man named Maximillian Caesar.
Seeing that this group would need to continue its work long after the then present government would end its term, it was made an ongoing “black project”. Untraceable, unaccountable to congress or even succeeding administrations.
*People new that this project was real. Ministers and officials often tried to end this project. More than once by force. Yet somehow it always survived any process designed to purge it. This earned it the name Lazarus.
Now the Lazarus Concordance was free to act as it willed. Operating on its own, unaccountable to anyone, as judge, jury and executioner. Following their motto’s; “In time of war, the law falls silent.” The Concordance revelled in their belief that Caesar could do no wrong!

===Adolescence===

“Let me introduce you to Dr. Willard. He will guide you in your medical training.”
Lokasena looked at the new face. It was a fairly young man, although stress and long hours had formed deep wrinkles on his forehead. As he extended his hand in politeness, Sena could not help but notice that Willard’s hand was ice cold. “A pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.” Willard said in a raspy voice. “I hear good things about you. Mr Tellor tells me you have an interest in the sciences.” “Yes, I do…” “Excellent! You will accompany me to our teaching facility. We’ll make a scientist out of you yet.”

Months of intense studying and exams followed. Lokasena proved to be an exemplary student. His only problem was respecting those who, in Sena’s eyes, were wrong.

Corvinus turned to see Elim run towards his, down a hospital corridor. Elim had been his fellow student, he was training to be a cleric as well.
“How can I help you today, Elim?” The dark haired young man halted in front of him, catching his breath. “How did you know? Ah well, anyway… I was wondering if you could look at this patient chart for me. I just can’t seem to pinpoint his genetic defect.”
Lokasena took the chart and studied it for a moment.
“Heart, lung, liver and kidney failure… He won’t last long!” Sena said when he finally looked up again. “Actually, it’s a she.” Elim smiled smug.
“Ah… well, unless you believe the problem to be in her genitals or hormones, that information is irrelevant.” Corvinus dropped another glance at the chart. “You need to put her on broad-spectrum antibiotics for the infection.”
Elim frowned. “I already ruled out infection! No fever, no elevated white count in her blood.”
“That’s fascinating!” Sena replied. “And if you hadn’t pumped her full of immuno-suppressants I’d be surprised..” “But her immune system was attacking her body…”
“NO…!” Sena interrupted. “The infection is attacking her organs. We need a lung biopsy to see which of the 10 million bugs is killing her.”
“If I biopsy her now, she’ll go into effusion.” Elim snapped as Lokasena raised an eyebrow and sighed. “Very well. Go tell her that she’ll die because her doctor is a coward! No? Then get me a piece of her lung, now!”

“You better do as he says, Elim. Sena has the tendency to be right about these things.”
Dr. Willard walked up to the young men. Elim nodded and then turned to make his way back to his patient.
“That was a solid call, Sena. Yet again… I think you’ve learned all you can here.” Willard smiled at Corvinus. “I heard you were interested in bio-mechanics. That field is wide open for you, if you want it.” Lokasena felt a rush of relief come over him. “Yes sir, very much…”
“But why, Sena? Why take on a whole new specialty now?” Sena’s answer was short.
“More research, less people.”

*And so Lokasena’s experimentation with bio-mechanics began.
*A Knowledge that would serve him well, in the future.

Afterwards, Tellor promoted the young fighter to official Concordance Cleric.
In his new position, Lokasena was entrusted with sensitive information about the inner workings of the Lazarus hierarchy. He was implanted with a cortical stimulator. The device was designed to trigger the production of vast amount of natural endorphins in Sena’s body. The idea was to make the subjects immune to pain, should they ever be captured and tortured.

===Adulthood===

*Years went by, and at the age of 24, Sena proved to be an exemplary Cleric.
Conflict within the ranks of the Clerics grew. Fingers were being pointed at Corvinus. Especially by Elim, his colleague and friend.
Therefore the Concordance set Lokasena up for a trap. He was sent to a penal colony as an enforcer to administrative policy. There he was in charge of security.
One day, a group of prisoners high jacked a transport. As the transport left orbit, Sena gave the order to destroy it.
With a single blast, the transport was destroyed. Killing the escaped prisoners.
Unfortunately for Lokasena, one of the crewmembers onboard the transport had been the daughter of syndicate boss within the Concordance.
Sena was stripped of his rank and position. He underwent immediate surgery, were the cortical implant was removed. Sena was throw in to an isolation cell. His body had become accustomed to the higher endorphins in his blood. With the implant removed, Sena went into withdrawal. His senses were obscured by the darkness of his cell.
After a long period of pain and suffering, Sena had finally built up enough hate to break free of his confinement. Single-handedly he killed everyone in the prison complex and fled to the far reaches of space.

===A new beginning (Thinker, Fighter, Spy)===

*He knew that this hate inside him was fuelling him. He needed to find a place where people were like him. He finally reached the Dark Brotherhood and was accepted as a member.
Amongst his brethren, Sena felt powerful. He felt at home.

*Later, after the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion, Lokasena decided that a cranial implant did have its uses. If he were ever captured, it would prevent him from succumbing to torture.
With knowledge of his previous implant and help from the extensive Brotherhood Databanks, Lokasena created a new implant. Far more effective and dangerous.
It renders him fairly immune to pain, given that the pain is induced over long periods of time.
Short bursts of pain, such as injuries in battle, can still be felt however.
The implant can no longer be removed, not without killing Lokasena. This feature makes him the ideal person to entrust with sensitive information.

===Love, hate and The Great Jedi War===

*The young Dark Jedi was as surprised as anyone by the sudden [[Yuuzhan Vong Incursion]] into Brotherhood space.
Lokasena was on board of the Dark Prophet when the Taldryan fleet was attacked. Together with Komari Vossa, a team mate and old friend, he escaped to the Katarn, seconds after the Dark Prophet exploded.
*Corvinus had been attacked by a captured Yuuzhan Vong in the Katarn’s morgue.
The Vong had stabbed him in the back. The wound healed, but the scar can still be seen.

*On board the Katarn he and Komari helped track down a Vong intruder. They were able to corner the enemy until superior Taldryan forces arrived.
It was on that ship, during the Vong attack, that Sena and Komari shared their first kiss.
Their love was passionate but short. Komari was killed in another Yuuzhan Vong engagement. Lokasena grieved deeply over his loss.
There are those who claim that Sena created his cranial implant to ease the pain of loss.

Balvarines are a species native to the forest world where Lokasena grew up. They are a werewolf-like race.

At about 2 meters in height, with viscous claws and fangs, Balavrines are a formidable opponent to any warrior. Their saliva is highly corrosive.
A Balvarine den is lead by it’s matriarch, which is the strongest and largest female. At a certain age, due to hormones, the matriarch’s fur turns white.
Balvarines are very intelligent. Some have even been known to understand the tongues of men.
Lokasena has often fought these vicious creatures. Always using his Mormegill or bare hands.

Killing a Balvarine with a Lightsaber is near to impossible.
Balvarines seem to have an instinctive fear for Lightsabers.
When they know a warrior carries one, they will simply hide deep in their lairs.
And Lightsaber or not, no one in their right minds would want to step into a Balvarine lair.

=== Corvus Corvinus ===

From the very beginning, Lokasena has hunted many times in the forests of Taruma.
Hunting for the Great Wolves of Saleucami, which he brought to Taruma for sport and training.
On one such ventures, Sena found a young, wounded Jackdaw.
Although the birds usually are an omen of death, Sena took pity on the bird and
nurtured it back to health.

Corvus, as the animal was named, usually sits on his master’s shoulder.
Lokasena has been seen talking to the bird. Sometimes it even appears that the birds speaks to its master.
Whether this is in fact the case, or simply an example of another Krath gone round the bend, is still open to debate. But when carrying Corvus, Sena always refers to himself as “us”.
To Corvinus, Corvus is an equal.

== Character History ==

===The early years===
*Born on Saleucami, three years after the battle of Yavin, Lokasena was the son of a prominent member of the Lazarus Concordance. A ruthless and efficient organized crime syndicate. Claiming to enforce government policy, the Concordance blackmailed all who opposed the politicians that paid for their services.
Corvinus was taken from his home world at a very young age. Resettled on a distant and unnamed forest planet, Lokasena was trained to become one of the Concordance’s best enforcers. Thrown into a pit of wolves to fight for survival, Sena flourished.

===The Lazarus project===

*Some 1 year after the battle of Yavin, the government of Saleucami decided to create a group that could come up with answers against the population’s growing turmoil.
The many brilliant men in that group could also be counted upon to keep their mouths shut until they did come up with those answers. And so the Clerics came to be, led by a man named Maximillian Caesar.
Seeing that this group would need to continue its work long after the then present government would end its term, it was made an ongoing “black project”. Untraceable, unaccountable to congress or even succeeding administrations.
*People new that this project was real. Ministers and officials often tried to end this project. More than once by force. Yet somehow it always survived any process designed to purge it. This earned it the name Lazarus.
Now the Lazarus Concordance was free to act as it willed. Operating on its own, unaccountable to anyone, as judge, jury and executioner. Following their motto’s; “In time of war, the law falls silent.” The Concordance revelled in their belief that Caesar could do no wrong!

===Adolescence===

*At the age of 16 he entered the fighting cages. Lazarus Concordance officials wagered high amounts on the outcome of these fights. These high placed men and women soon learned that it was prudent to bet on Lokasena’s victory.
At 18, Sena was still the undefeated champion of the cage. Noticing that he was always a bit faster or stronger that his opponents, he sought new challenges.

*One of the syndicate under-bosses, a man named Greython Tellor, saw Lokasena’s potential.
===Medical training===

“Welcome, Lokasena.” The old man said as Sena entered the room. Greython Tellor had been Sena’s mentor for some time now. He trusted him.
“Let me introduce you to Dr. Willard. He will guide you in your medical training.”
Lokasena looked at the new face. It was a fairly young man, although stress and long hours had formed deep wrinkles on his forehead. As he extended his hand in politeness, Sena could not help but notice that Willard’s hand was ice cold. “A pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“No, the pleasure is all mine.” Willard said in a raspy voice. “I hear good things about you. Mr Tellor tells me you have an interest in the sciences.” “Yes, I do…” “Excellent! You will accompany me to our teaching facility. We’ll make a scientist out of you yet.”

Months of intense studying and exams followed. Lokasena proved to be an exemplary student. His only problem was respecting those who, in Sena’s eyes, were wrong.

“Hey Sena!”
Corvinus turned to see Elim run towards his, down a hospital corridor. Elim had been his fellow student, he was training to be a cleric as well.
“How can I help you today, Elim?” The dark haired young man halted in front of him, catching his breath. “How did you know? Ah well, anyway… I was wondering if you could look at this patient chart for me. I just can’t seem to pinpoint his genetic defect.”
Lokasena took the chart and studied it for a moment.
“Heart, lung, liver and kidney failure… He won’t last long!” Sena said when he finally looked up again. “Actually, it’s a she.” Elim smiled smug.
“Ah… well, unless you believe the problem to be in her genitals or hormones, that information is irrelevant.” Corvinus dropped another glance at the chart. “You need to put her on broad-spectrum antibiotics for the infection.”
Elim frowned. “I already ruled out infection! No fever, no elevated white count in her blood.”
“That’s fascinating!” Sena replied. “And if you hadn’t pumped her full of immuno-suppressants I’d be surprised..” “But her immune system was attacking her body…”
“NO…!” Sena interrupted. “The infection is attacking her organs. We need a lung biopsy to see which of the 10 million bugs is killing her.”
“If I biopsy her now, she’ll go into effusion.” Elim snapped as Lokasena raised an eyebrow and sighed. “Very well. Go tell her that she’ll die because her doctor is a coward! No? Then get me a piece of her lung, now!”

“You better do as he says, Elim. Sena has the tendency to be right about these things.”
Dr. Willard walked up to the young men. Elim nodded and then turned to make his way back to his patient.
“That was a solid call, Sena. Yet again… I think you’ve learned all you can here.” Willard smiled at Corvinus. “I heard you were interested in bio-mechanics. That field is wide open for you, if you want it.” Lokasena felt a rush of relief come over him. “Yes sir, very much…”
“But why, Sena? Why take on a whole new specialty now?” Sena’s answer was short.
“More research, less people.”

*And so Lokasena’s experimentation with bio-mechanics began. A Knowledge that would serve him well, in the future.

Afterwards, Tellor promoted the young fighter to official Concordance Cleric.
In his new position, Lokasena was entrusted with sensitive information about the inner workings of the Lazarus hierarchy. He was implanted with a cortical stimulator. The device was designed to trigger the production of vast amount of natural endorphins in Sena’s body. The idea was to make the subjects immune to pain, should they ever be captured and tortured.

===Adulthood===

*Years went by, and at the age of 24, Sena proved to be an exemplary Cleric.
Conflict within the ranks of the Clerics grew. Fingers were being pointed at Corvinus. Especially by Elim, his colleague and friend.
Therefore the Concordance set Lokasena up for a trap. He was sent to a penal colony as an enforcer to administrative policy. There he was in charge of security.
One day, a group of prisoners high jacked a transport. As the transport left orbit, Sena gave the order to destroy it.
With a single blast, the transport was destroyed. Killing the escaped prisoners.
Unfortunately for Lokasena, one of the crewmembers onboard the transport had been the daughter of syndicate boss within the Concordance.
Sena was stripped of his rank and position. He underwent immediate surgery, were the cortical implant was removed. Sena was throw in to an isolation cell. His body had become accustomed to the higher endorphins in his blood. With the implant removed, Sena went into withdrawal. His senses were obscured by the darkness of his cell.
After a long period of pain and suffering, Sena had finally built up enough hate to break free of his confinement. Single-handedly he killed everyone in the prison complex and fled to the far reaches of space.

===A new beginning (Thinker, Fighter, Spy)===

*He knew that this hate inside him was fuelling him. He needed to find a place where people were like him. He finally reached the Dark Brotherhood and was accepted as a member.
Amongst his brethren, Sena felt powerful. He felt at home.

*Later, after the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion, Lokasena decided that a cranial implant did have its uses. If he were ever captured, it would prevent him from succumbing to torture.
With knowledge of his previous implant and help from the extensive Brotherhood Databanks, Lokasena created a new implant. Far more effective and dangerous.
It renders him fairly immune to pain, given that the pain is induced over long periods of time.
Short bursts of pain, such as injuries in battle, can still be felt however.
The implant can no longer be removed, not without killing Lokasena. This feature makes him the ideal person to entrust with sensitive information.

===Love, hate and The Great Jedi War===

''Cry woe, destruction, ruin and decay.
The worst is death, and death will have his day!''

*The young Dark Jedi was as surprised as anyone by the sudden [[Yuuzhan Vong Incursion]] into Brotherhood space.
Lokasena was on board of the Dark Prophet when the Taldryan fleet was attacked. Together with Komari Vossa, a team mate and old friend, he escaped to the Katarn, seconds after the Dark Prophet exploded.
*Corvinus had been attacked by a captured Yuuzhan Vong in the Katarn’s morgue.
The Vong had stabbed him in the back. The wound healed, but the scar can still be seen.

*On board the Katarn he and Komari helped track down a Vong intruder. They were able to corner the enemy until superior Taldryan forces arrived.
It was on that ship, during the Vong attack, that Sena and Komari shared their first kiss.
Their love was passionate but short. Komari was killed in another Yuuzhan Vong engagement. Lokasena grieved deeply over his loss.
There are those who claim that Sena created his cranial implant to ease the pain of loss.
