In order to prove his strength he was to kill the sixteen year old leader of a local gang named Solon.

Azariel quickly found Solon and issued a challenge, which was met with laughter, though the young gang leader agreed. Both combatants drew their Tehk'la blades and circled each other. Azariel quickly gained the upper hand, as Solon underestimated his young opponent and had his blade knocked from his hands. With his opponent at his mercy, Azariel picked up Solon's blade and gave it back, stating "Let's start over, this time don't go easy on me." After a long fight, Solon managed to pin Azariel, but decided to let him live due to his earlier mercy. However, Solon cut Azariel's cheek from the edge of his left eye to his chin as a reminder of his loss.

Upon returning to the alley Azariel told Atin of the fight. Atin smiled and told him that the task had nothing to do with strength, but honor. Atin then told the young Nagai that he was now a Mando'ade, a child of Mandalore, as well as a member of Clan Ordo. From then on Azariel adopted the name Llats.

Llats went on to learn of his adopted culture, especially that of his clan. Upon reaching Mandalore he found out the Atin's wife, Shara, could bare no children. He also met his brother and sister who had similarly been adopted by Atin, though both were human. Jarl, the older brother, was a stubborn twelve year old who seemed to perpetually have a tan. Beatrix, Llats' sister, was one year younger than him. The two quickly became close, though Jarl acted aloof around them.

The Black Hammer Brigade is a heavy-armoured company made up of two combined-arms fire teams of infantry and armour, commissioned shortly after the [[Ninth Great Jedi War]] as part of the Arcona Armoured Division attached to the [[NSD Invicta]]. The main application of Black Hammer is to penetrate enemies’ defensive lines through use of forceful manoeuvring and heavy firepower. Due to the logistics required, Black Hammer mostly only encounters combat in important theatres of war and for the most part, spends her time in training for such an occurrence.

Obelisk Assassin [[Juda Kodiak Erinos]] was chosen as the company’s Lieutenant, sporting a [[starwars:Mandalorian|Mandalorian]] heritage and having served [[Soulfire Strike Team]] for the most part of his Brotherhood career, the Templar took the position with extreme confidence and immediately pushed the Brigade through intensive combat training, adamant in creating the unstoppable machine that is the Black Hammer.

Adding to the Mando’ade flair is the intel-receiving antenna that, as it says, can receive new intel about target buildings. Furthermore, the targeting system can track heat-emitting targets including people and vehicles.

Perhaps the most unique touch of the armour is the recoil stabilizers that runs in a criss-cross fashion across the slate grey armor and are activated by recoil and blow-backs that are trademark of Heavy Infantry weaponry; PLEXs, grenade launchers, etc. These stabilizers keep the Heavy Soldier from being blown back and made vulnerable in the field of battle.

Identical to the BCA:L, rank insignia is worn on the dead center of both the helmet and the chestplate and a dark blue shoulder guard is found on the left, indicating the second-type of infantry of Black Hammer and the right guard is grey with the medi-chip hardwired inside. Finally, the BCA:H is full grey with only the black ‘T’ visor and various aesthetic markings that the Heavy soldiers may choose to add.

Finaly an ammunition backpack may be worn that carries PLEX ammo, grenades, a repair kit, and other weapons. The backpack is not mandatory but much encouraged by the Black Hammer command. As such, it is suggested that the Heavy Infantry find and set up shop in a easily defensible place where they can unleash the most damage while staying safe as their heavy load out doesn’t allow for much mobility.

'''Tank Ballistic Combat Armour (BCA: T)''' 
 The final Ballistic Combat Armour is the Tanker variant, designed for tank operators and gunners. This armour, except for the helmet, resembles nothing of the BCA:L and the BCA:H. The chest plate is light armour, black in color and resembling a vest with no sleeves and plenty of pockets to store various items that the crew may need. The vest bears rank on the left and right shoulders sans guards, instead a red cord is hung from the left shoulder and holo-tags are worn around the soldier’s neck to display medical info. Stripped down BCA:L armor is used for the leggings and boots and a very complex helmet that requires special training to use is given to each “tanker”. Not only does the BCA:A helm display the soldiers vitals, it also gives a reading of the tanks ammo, shields, mobility, power levels, and mileage, making the HUD a very confusing and confined space.

Ultimately, the BCA:T is the lightest of all the variants, due to the mobility needed to move from the tank’s various key structures (cockpit, guns, repair console, etc) but that’s not to say it wouldn’t protect a soldier in dire circumstances as the vest is waterproof and fireproof and can stop low powered energy bolts and the leggings, boots, and helm can stop the equivalent of a BCA:L.
