They lacked enough assets to escape Dark Brotherhood space entirely and they lacked contacts and resources to obtain those assets, having spent so many years following an esoteric cult of personality.<br /> <br /> Four years after the Ninth Great Jedi War in 28 ABY when House Odan-Urr was founded, the Jedi that would later become the founders of House Liath settled on the planet of New Tython. The problem with actually joining the ranks of House Odan-Urr was that House Odan-Urr sought to practice the path of the Jedi as purely as possible, something nearly impossible for the ardent followers of unfathomable Omancor Crash. It was here that they first met Kah Manet who would later serve as their first Quaestor.<br /> <br /> Immediately upon Darth Pravus’ coronation the newly minted Grand Master of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood led an armada to destroy New Tython, the home planet of the Clan Odan-Urr. Rather than staying and fighting for ground they didn’t value and in the wake of the First Orders destruction of the New Republic, the Crask Jedi using Kah Manet’s contacts headed for the home system of Clan Tarentum, Yridia. They arrived at Yridia IX and went underground as Kah Manet sought to find them official status among the Clan.<br /> <br /> The very next year in 35 ABY, after Darth Pravus gave gray and light Jedi safe haven within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Tarentum Consul Frosty Tarentae commissioned House Liath under the guidance of Quaestor Kah Manet and his Aedile, blackhawk. Laith was apportioned a high tech facility on the toxic moon of Salam, which orbited the uninhabited gas giant Yridia VIII.<br /> <br /> During the next year other gray Jedi members with ties to Tarentum were inducted into House Liath but the core of the house remained the former followers of Jedi Master Crask, who they had taken to calling Grand Master Crask. After finding out their mentor had been a Dark Lord of the Sith so many years before, his followers took more of an interest in the Dark Side truly becoming Gray.<br /> <br /> ===New Direction===<br /> Frosty’s tenure as Consul came to an end, with Proconsul Sith Bloodfyre succeeding him. Sith had always been a proponent of the Clan Tarentum as the Clan of Life and Death. Death was well represented within the Clan but the newly commissioned House Liath gave Tarentum a real chance to fully represent the paradox. Rather than being trapped beneath a layer of toxic fog, Sith had his own ideas about how to best utilize the gray Jedi. <br /> <br /> Clan Tarentum had always claimed authority over Yridia IX and the City of Eden, first under the Principality and then under the poorly executed Kratocracy. But the Clan never really controlled the nineteen million citizens of Eden. The Clan would often appoint a governor of the planet, but one with no influence over the actual Prefect of Eden. The Clans control of the world was a lie only other members of the Dark Brotherhood would believe.<br /> <br /> Bloodfyre’s mission for the House Liath was simple, gain control of the planet without revealing the existence of the Dark Brotherhood or their status as force users. This wouldn’t be as simple as declaring control of the planet or even as easy as dominating the planet through military force. Bloodfyre wanted Liath to spread among the people and to gain control of their social, governmental, and economic systems. <br /> <br /> The mission to surreptitiously usurp control of the planet wouldn’t be easy or simple; it wouldn’t require one strategy but several. The mission wouldn’t be short term; but years long, perhaps decades long. The Gray Jedi of the House Liath possing varying amounts of human empathy and emotion in contrast to Mortis, who were nearly uniformly sociopaths, were the perfect ones to take on this mission.<br /> <br /> To undertake this difficult assignment the original leadership team of Kah Manet and blackhawk was replaced with Rekio Tarentae as Quaestor and Adrestia as Aedile. He joined the order of the [[Krath]] and was assigned to Clan [[Tarentum]]. In the Clan he met [[Pel]], a powerfull and wise human, who was willing to become the Cathar's Master.<br /> <br /> ====Within the Brotherhood====<br /> As [[Pel]] was asked to meet [[Samael Ozriel]], Itshim (being Pel's Apprentice) joined them. Sam was the Leader of Battleteam Inmortuae and after a while, going on several missions, Itshim fell in favor with him. The Cathar became Battleteam Sergeant.<br /> <br /> One day Sam went missing and Itshim claimed his quarters, making himself Battleteam Leader. He immediatly anounced that changes were at hand.<br /> <br /> == Physical Description ==<br /> Itshim is a muscular male cat-like humanoid. His entire body is covered in dark-brown fur and on his head he has light brown thick manes, nearly covering his shoulders. Rising up between those manes: two big, pointy ears. The right ear has a triangular rupture, a wound he got during his hrrtayyk ceremony. The eyes of the Cathar are intense green, the left-one is concealed with an eyepatch, no one knows what happened to that eye and no one dares to ask.<br /> <br /> ===Weapons===<br /> ====DL-18 Blaster Pistol====<br /> Bought for the price of 750 credits. When Itshim found out he was charged a whole lot to much, he killed the individual who sold it to him.<br /> ====Neuronic Whip====<br /> The weapon of the Mandalorian that enslaved Itshim's mother. Itshim managed to find and kill him. <br /> ==== Ryyk Blade====<br /> Itshim's favourite weapon, probably because of it's high emotional value.
