Mercur "Fire-Knight" Matsuki of Clan Taldryan

Character History
Early Life
Born in 3BBY, Mercur was a member of the Claw clan on the Ice covered Planet Nelvaan. His young years were quite uneventful aside from his enormous growth spurts. By the age of 16 Mercur was the largest male in his tribe and already one of the hunt leaders. During his time as hunt leader, Mercur was given the name "Fire-Knight" for his ash gray fur and prowess in battle. Shortly after his 19th Birthday in 16ABY Mercur was on a hunting expedition when a group of Hutt employed slavers landed and captured several members of the expedition, Including Mercur himself.

Imprisonment
The Slavers took their prisoners to Tatooine where the Nelvaans were trained and used as Gladiators in Tatooine's many arenas. Little did Mercur know that his successful career was due to his untrained use of the force in many battles. By the age of 20(17ABY) Mercur was one of the best known Fighters on Tatooine, and was often smuggled onto inner rim planets for Illegal matches.

Escape
At the age of 21 (18ABY) Mercur's restraint cuffs malfunctioned allowing him to kill his guards, while being escorted off the ship for another fight. Upon re-entering the ship Mercur confronted the Pilot giving him the option of serving him or dying. With the pilot at his side they left the planet on the YT-2000 "Ice". Mercur quickly picked up the basics of flight being taught to him by the pilot, and had ample opportunity to put it to use. Being one of the galaxies most famed prized fighters, Mercur quickly had a fleet of bounty hunters looking for him and his new Pilot friend.

Several dog fights ensued, always resulting in victory for Mercur, but in a final battle before his flight, the ship was badly damaged and several controls exploded killing the Pilot who had taught Mercur. After the fight, Mercur stopped at a nearby planet only long enough to repair and refit his ship and quickly fled to the furthest reaches of the Galaxy.

Early Brotherhood Career
Shortly after leaving Tatooine, Mercur found him self in the Outer Rim where he accidentaly came upon the Kr'Tal System and Clan Taldryan. Mercur landed on a nearby planet and quickly found himself surrounded by a squad of Taldryan troops, whom he quickly and savagely killed. A Dark Jedi with the group stopped the battle and agreed to let Mercur live providing he joined the DB fleet as a Storm trooper. Left without another option, Mercur agreed and his Career quickly sky rocketed and at the age of 22 (19ABY) Mercur was acting as a senior assassin for House Dinaari of Taldryan. For the duration of the year Mercur was sent out on some of the most dangerous and top secret missions the Taldryan summit could create for him.

The Journeyman
It was not until the age of 23 (20ABY) when Mercur was training with a Dark Jedi of House Dinnari, that his force powers manifested in truth. Mercur was training the Dark Jedi in sword techniques when the Jedi Realized that no matter how much he used the force Mercur was able to keep up in the battle. When this was mentioned to Shadow Taldrya, The Quaestor of Dinaari at the time, the Quaestor himself came to the sparing arena to tests the Assassins skills. Mercur was defeated but did not fail to make a lasting impression on Shadow.

Shortly after this battle, Mercur was inducted into the Shadow Academy and began his studies as a Dark Jedi Knight. Later after passing several vital tests, Mercur returned to his home of Dinaari.

Several years passed and Mercur quickly built rank and influence until he was appointed Sergeant of the Dark Fire Brigade of Dinaari. As a leader Mercur quickly built a fierce reputation for his strength and determination in battle and his old nickname of "Fire-Knight" began to resurface as many realized he was the famed Gladiator.

Upon being promoted to Dark Jedi Knight, Mercur stepped into the position of Aedile of House Dinaari where he reigned until news that his family whom he had assumed dead finally reached him. With this news Mercur disappeared.

Return and ascension to the Equites
After having returned to Nelvaan and taking the time to lay his dying mother to rest, Mercur returned to Taldryan and took on the position of Rollmaster of House Dinaari.
Fire-Knight of Clan Taldryan

Character History
Born in 3BBY, Fire-Knight was a member of the Claw clan on the Ice covered Planet Nelvaan. His young years were quite uneventful aside from his enormous growth spurts. By the age of 16 Fire-Knight was the largest Male in his tribe and already one of the hunt leaders. Shortly after his 19th Birthday in 16ABY Fire-Knight was on a hunting expedition when a group of Hutt employed slavers landed and captured several members of the expedition, Including Fire-Knight himself.

The Slavers took their prisoners to Tatooine where the Nelvaans were trained and used as Gladiators in Tatooine's many Arenas. Little did Fire-Knight know that his successful career was due to his untrained use of the force in many battles. By the age of 20(17ABY) Fire-Knight was one of the best known Fighters on Tatooine.

At the age of 21 (18ABY) Fire-Knight killed his guards, while being escorted off the ship for another fight, and captured the pilot. Leaving the planet on the YT-2000 "Ice" Fire-Knight forced the Pilot to teach him the basics of flight before he killed the man.

Fire-Knight joined the DB fleet as a meer Storm trooper. His Career quickly sky rocketed and at the age of 22 (19ABY) Fire-Knight was now acting as an assassin for House Dinaari of Taldryan.
CTF Primer<br>
A Taldryan Guide to the Art of CTF
</center>

This document is an instructional guide for members just starting to play Capture-the-Flag for the game Jedi Outcast. It will contain techniques for flag running, defending and supporting, as well as several possible CTF Force Configurations that can be used for whichever position you find yourself playing.

Now, before we get started, I’d like to point out that not everyone will be amazing at CTF. Reading this primer is a good start, but nothing can take the place of hands-on practice. Get as much of it as you can. Being a member of Taldryan you are lucky enough to have a large group of people to play with on a regular basis. Play each other for fun and to test your skills so as to perfect them for competitions. Don’t give up if you’re not one of the best playing, everybody starts as a beginner. With that said, remember that CTF is about having fun with your friends. Let’s begin…

Positions
Runner
A runner is the person or persons on a team that focus all their efforts on capturing the enemies flag and scoring a point for their team. Speed and agility are key to being a good runner, as well as knowing the map you’re playing inside and out and the ability to use the different jump techniques to your advantage.

On spawning the runner usually makes his way towards the enemy base using force speed/jump and grabbing weapons along the way as opposed to loading up to fight a lot of battles. Capping is their only objective and because of this runners tend to die the most out of any other position.

Jumps
There are several different special “jumps” that can be used on the Bespin map to help the runner reach the enemies flag or his own faster, but be warned: These jumps leave the runner open to counter-attacks by enemy pull/push whores. There is a way to counteract this somewhat, but it is tricky and is not foolproof. First, we will discuss the jumps themselves. Note: All directions (left, right, etc) are based on the runners point of view when running towards a base.

“Left Hall to Platform Jump” – Though it seems like a tricky jump, it is actually one of the easiest to succeed at. When force speeding (yes, you need to be using speed) down the left hallway you come to an opening that gives you full view of the flag platform. Strafe towards the edge and give your jump button a bit of a tap. Not too much so that you hit the ceiling, just enough to launch yourself over the gap and onto the platform. From there you have the option of running through the door, or – you can make the return jump to the left hallway, or even attempt the jump to the window on the far right of the flag chamber.

“Return to the Left Hall Jump” – This jump is a bit trickier as the sloped ceiling can cause you to plummet to your death. Not a desired outcome now that you have the flag. If you still have force speed activated and enough force left to jump, strafe toward the left edge of the platform aiming for the left hall. You need to lightly jump while continuing to strafe towards the left hall to make this jump. A lot of times it helps to have your finger on the crouch button as well, just to make sure. The amount of force used for these two jumps is relatively low (after the initial use of speed) and it’s always a good idea for a runner to conserve force when they can.

“Right Window Jump” – The final platform-related jump is the jump from the platform to the window located on the right side. This is helpful because you gain a huge lead over your pursuers, but like the other jumps this one leaves you wide open to push/pull attacks. If you feel the platform is free of enemies always try to make this jump – it’s very helpful and rather simple to do. With force speed on, run towards the window and jump until you’re just a bit above it. Keep pressing forward as you slide downwards and hit the crouch button and you’ll duck inside the window. With more practice you’ll be able to hit the window directly and crouch into it, but to start it’s always easier to slide down… it just leaves you vulnerable for a moment longer.

Defending Your Flag
As a runner you’ll often have grabbed the flag at the same time as the enemies runners have grabbed yours. These stalemates are often decided on how skilled the runner is at surviving. Knowing how to keep yourself fully healed, with plenty of ammo is important. The use of force seeing will give you some warning of where would-be attackers are coming from. Your best bet is to either use the flechette or the repeater and finish your enemy off as quickly as possible and then retreating to your bases shield/bacta room.

There isn’t much to say about this as your skill with guns and knowledge of when items spawn pretty much decides how long you can survive. If you have enough teammates, some will obviously stay back to guard you while the rest target the enemy flag carrier. Sometimes stalemates last a long time, don’t get bored and try something risky. It’ll cost you the flag and possibly the game.

Defender
As Defender, your job is quite simple; Kill every member of the opposing team who enters your base as quickly as possible.

Weapons
As the Defender, it is important to familiarize yourself with the locations of all weapons, this includes the Automated turret which can be extremely useful.

The first thing you should do, is pick up is the Flechette Cannon, It's wide dispersal and exploding rounds can turn the main hallways into a death trap for runners. Engage force Seeing, and track the movements of enemy players, If they come down the Hall begin by shooting a few spray shots while they're at a distance, and as the get closer unleash a barrage of exploding rounds. If this does not kill them it will at least weaken them.

After you get the Cannon, pick up the Turret and run onto the platform. Place the Turret on the Edge of the Platform, not at the entrance. This is extremely important for two reasons. 1) So that a return Runner is not obstructed while trying to Cap the flag, and 2) If a member of the opposing team grabs the flag you can shoot the turret to blow them off the edge.

Push/Pull
As a Defender, Push/Pull will be extremely useful. Many Runners make use of the Hall to Platform, or Platform to Window jumps. This is when a runner is most Vulnerable. Make sure you always have a bit of force stored up for when a runner decides to jump, it is a great way to save time and ammo.

Don't be afraid to Die
If your Force or Health is low, don't be afraid to hit that binded 'Kill' key, A defender in top shape is better then one with only three hp left and no force. Having said this, make sure that their are no enemies in the base when you do this, otherwise you're leaving your flag wide open

Flag Recovery
If the opposing team has your flag, the defender has only one course of action, Seek and destroy. Force speed your way to the enemies base and locate the flag carrier, then unleash hell, Fire as many exploding rounds as possible until their runner is dead. If it doesn't work the first time, keep doing it, your runner is depending on your swift actions in returning the flag.

If you can prevent the opposing runner from even reaching his/her base, that is even better, Push/Pull in the centre chamber can once again save ammo and time.

Support
The position of support is one of the easiest positions to pick up, but it is quite hard to master. Basically, your job is to assist your team in any way possible. This can mean assisting the defenders if the opposing team attempts to rush your base, or helping the flag runner safely escape from the opposing base.

Use the Map to Your Advantage
To be a successful support player, you should take the time to learn the layout of the map, paying special attention to any base entrances and chokepoints. The chokepoints are especially useful, as you will be spending a lot of time attempting to maintain control of them. By controlling the chokepoint, you allow your runner to get that much closer to the enemy flag before encountering resistance. As a secondary benefit, the opposing team is more likely to spend time attacking you and less time doing something more useful. Know where the closest ammo/weapon spawns to the chokepoint are, and take note of any alcoves or hiding spots.

Teammates Status and Location
Remember to take very seriously your role as “Support”. If one of your teammates calls for a Team Energize/Heal, be ready to hit that button. One of the best tools to help you with this is the team status overlay. At a glance, you can see which teammate is currently under attack, and may need assistance. For example, if you see the defender(s) taking damage, you may want to try and get behind the enemy and shoot at their backs (while they’re shooting at your team).

Give Yourself to the Cause
Repeat after me: “I am expendable. I will give my all for the flag”. As a support player, death is of little importance to you. By killing you, the enemy has used up ammo that could be used against either the defense or the runner. They have taken time from their positions simply to chase you down. You, on the other hand, can return to your chokepoint with minimal equipment and continue harassing the opposing team. To that end, do whatever is necessary to either annoy the other team, or help your own. See that group of enemies chasing your runner? Jump in between them and your runner and play human shield. Similarly, if your runner is going in one entrance to the opposing base, go ahead and make a complete idiot of yourself in the other entrance. Get the whole team playing “stomp the annoying idiot”. Every opponent shooting at you isn’t shooting at your runner. Remember your place when going for health and shields. It’s your job to die; don’t take them unless everybody else is at full health.

Maps
Bespin Exhaust Shafts
*Bespin is the standard CTF map used because it’s well-suited for matches of both 3v3 and 4v4. If you have more players try using a larger map. If you have less, try to get more people to play. CTF is no fun with four players.

*Bespin is split into three parts. Base red, center, and base blue. At the exact center the map mirrors itself, so learn one half and you’ve learned the whole. The flag is located in a circular chamber on a platform surrounded on all sides by a death drop. To the left is a small window that leads to the left hallway. To the right you can see the right hallway. A door is open to a hallway running behind the base, which adjoins to a room with a bacta canister and three small shields.

*Going left leads you across a sentry-gun and a Flechette, as well as three small shields hidden behind a wall. This path will lead you to the center, but splits to either a small sniper post, or directly on the main bridge of the map.

*Going right leads you to a Repeater, as well as three health packs. This hall leads directly into the center and to a bunch of ammo and small shields lined up against a wall.

Tips and Techniques
Avoiding Pushes and Pulls
Push/Pull whores are rampant in the Bespin map. Your best defense is to try to avoid the pitfalls and stay grounded – that is, try not to jump around unless absolutely necessary. When running and using the platform jumps there are ways to somewhat defend yourself from an enemy defender standing on the platform itself. If you’re facing such a problem, they are more than likely going to use push and/or pull to blast you off course and into the abyss. Try using a pre-emptive force push at them just after you jump. Most times this will negate their use of push/pull and give you the couple of seconds you need to safely land, grab the flag and hopefully kill the enemy before deciding which way to run. It should be noted that this technique only works if the enemy in question is in your push radius. People behind you will be unaffected and able to pull you off course. Fortunately, this technique isn’t limited to just the platform jumps. Any time an enemy is blocking your path at a jump point you can attempt to use it and get around them. Practice it and you’ll find your chances of succeeding greatly increased.

Utilizing Bound Commands
Bound commands are any special function you’ve bound to a particular key to speed up a menial task. For instance taking a screenshot. Using the command: bind [button] screenshot you can take all the screens you want just by hitting the bound button. To bind commands to buttons you have to first bring up the "console". Simply do this by hitting the shift and tilde keys. The tilde key is the ~/` key just underneath "Esc".

It’s good to use binds for doing things in CTF as well. Binding text is the best strategy as you can relay information to your team just by clicking a button. It helps speed up your falling deaths to bind the command ‘kill’ to a button. Just tap it when you’re falling and you’ll die instantly and be able to spawn faster.

Other useful binds include warning your teammates of incoming attacks, or letting them know you have the flag and need help, or if you need to be energized. Those last two are especially important for flag runners. The command to bind team text is as follows:

*Bind [KEY] say_team [TEXT]

Suggestions:
*Bind [KEY] say_team Energize
*Bind [KEY] say_team Help me!
*Bind [KEY] kill

Common Tips
*Try to conserve your force pool as much as possible. You never know when a well-placed push or a burst of speed will be needed to stop a flag runner.
*Speed yourself up my strafe jumping through flat hallways where you cannot be pushed or pulled.
*Before charging heedlessly into the enemy’s base, try to cross paths with a flechette or repeater and any shields you can find.
*Avoid placing sentries right at the entrance to your flag platform. Most times it can screw up your returning runner and if destroyed will blow him off the platform.
*When running through the center of the map attempt to use Team Energize to give your teammates an always-needed boost of force power.
*Use the bound command “kill” when falling to your death to speed up your respawn time.
*Dying with any non-Bryar weapon out drops the weapon with one full clip of ammo. Combine this with /kill to pass ammo to a teammate.

CTF Force Configurations
Runner/Support
Defender
A defender is more-or-less free to use any force configuration that they find works well for them. The standard five neutral powers are usually maxed out and it never hurts to have extra teammates with Team Energize.

Shortly after leaving Tatooine, Fire-Knight found him self in the Outer Rim where he accidentaly came upon the Kr'Tal System and Clan Taldryan. Fire-Knight joined the DB fleet as a meer Storm trooper. His Career quickly sky rocketed and at the age of 22 (19ABY) Fire-Knight was now acting as an assassin for House Dinaari of Taldryan.

It was not until the age of 23 (20ABY) when Fire-Knight was training with a Dark Jedi of House Dinnari that his force powers manisfested in truth. Fire-Knight was training the Dark Jedi in sword techniques when the Jedi Realized that no matter how much he used the force Fire-Knight was able to keep up in the battle.

Shortly after this battle, Fire-Knight was inducted into the Shadow Academy and Later returned to his home of Dinaari.

Six Years has now passed within the Dark Brotherhood, and Fire-Knights Influence has slowly grown. His future goals are unknown to all but himself, but his brutal honesty and sense of honour make him an easily trusted member of Taldryan.

Dinaari houses the honorable warriors of Clan Taldryan and is known as the most powerful House in the Brotherhood.

History
Distant Past
During the war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance the Galaxy was in turmoil. Lawlessness ruled as the two groups vied for dominance allowing gangsters and assassins to evolve. Unbeknownst to most, societies were formed amongst the bounty hunters and assassins who were in high demand during the war. The strongest of these assassins secretly formed an elite group and became known as Dark Fire. Led by a mysterious man named Dinaari; Dark Fire was soon revered throughout the Galaxy for quickly killing anyone whom they believed deserved it. Dinaari was one of the only leaders that took contracts for the honor alone; he never accepted money from his employers. His deadly followers were all of like minds which made them almost legends to their own kind.

After the destruction of the Empire and the renewed justice imposed by the New Republic many of these societies withered and died becoming mere myth and legend. The followers of Dinaari found fewer and fewer opportunities to practice their art, and left for the Outer Rim in search of new challenges. While travelling far out on the Rim they stumbled upon the ancient Sith planet of Korriban, now inhabited only by strange beasts and vicious storms. While exploring some of the ancient Sith burial chambers, something strange changed the very essence of the Dark Fire members. No one was ever sure how or why, but after they left Korriban, Dinaari and his followers were no longer mere assassins or warriors; they had become receptive to the powers of the Dark Side.

Still not completely understanding their new connection to the Force, Dark Fire went in search of others who could help them harness their powers. Their search finally led them to the planet of Eos and the Dark Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood was not very receptive to newcomers brandishing weapons on the door of the Dark Hall, the Grand Master sent members of his Royal Guard to wipe out the intruding Dark Fire members. The battle raged on the steps of the Dark Hall with both groups losing members, however Dark Fire held its own against the guardsmen. Intrigued by the trespassers, the Grand Master recalled his Guardsmen and summoned the remaining members of Dark Fire into his presence. In front of hundreds in the Dark Hall, the members of Dark Fire laid the bloody body of their leader Dinaari in front of the Grand Master and his Council. The council welcomed Dark Fire into the Brotherhood, and the Dark Fire members vowed they would learn to master their abilities and skills for the honour of the Dark Side. Dinaari's second in command, whose name has been lost to history, stepped forward and accepted the Grand Master's proposal on one condition.

"We will not forget our past as we step into the future. Therefore, we will become known as House Dinaari in tribute to our fallen leader because we hold our loyalty to our own." The Council accepted the terms and merged House Dinaari with House's Ektrosis and Archanis knowing that Dinaari would fit in well with the members of the great Clan Taldryan.

Recent Past
Since that day Dinaari has been a great asset to Clan Taldryan helping it achieve victory after victory in its many wars and battles. The members of House Dinaari still follow the will of Dinaari to this very day, priding loyalty and honour above all else while remaining the elite group they once were.

As with all of Clan Taldryan, House Dinaari was an ardent supporter of the Brotherhood's decision to sever ties with the Emperor's Hammer. While this was a time of upheaval for many houses, Dinaari remained a stable force, losing no members to the war that divided both organizations and cost many their positions and awards. The leadership of Dinaari, however, was destined for change.

Each new leader brought more prestige to Dinaari and increased the Houses power and wealth. While the rest of the Brotherhood's Obelisk houses dwindled, Dinaari continued to gain strength, overshooting its past glory and becoming undisputed First House of the Obelisk. Having completed the duties they set out to accomplish, most Quaestors returned to Dinaari as regular members allowing for new blood to pass through its veins, while others were summoned to higher positions within the Brotherhood.

The future is bright for House Dinaari as the Clans sit on the brink of a Great War. But who knows what the future will hold? Perhaps it does not matter. As long as Dinaari retains its pride in skill and honor, greatness will always remain.

Head Quarters
The Dinaari HQ is Located inside Hle Ithca mountain along the Culprus mountain range. The entrance to the headquarters faces west, out along the Muragat plateau and into the lush Muragat forest. North and South of the Base, the treacherous mountains of Culprus continue on several hundred kilometers. To the East Hle Ithca drops down steeply into the Karana valley far below. The western face of the mountain has an impressive castle like fortress build directly into it and is surrounded by a 20ft wall which incases the Dinaari Gardens, and Visitor Landing pads. The Eastern face of the mountain has two large Hanger bay doors which usually remain open, but in times of attack these 10 ft thick cortosis laced doors can be sealed to prevent any hope of entry. One of these hangers is on even level with the Plateau, and acts as the main entry for clan members (as opposed to the visitor pads on the plateau used for visitors and trade.) and another is lower on the mountain and acts as a private hanger for the Aed and Qua of Dinaari. The Mountain itself encases a massive underground facility consisting of six floors. These Floors are designated as such:

Level Three (Mountain peak): The Peak of the mountain contains a number of meeting rooms and Guest quarters that provide a splendid view of the Valley and Plateau below. Having the guests housed on the top floor provides extra security and leaves a buffer distance between the Clan members and any potentially dangerous visitors.

Level Two (Lower Peak): The Lower section of the peak contains Dinaari’s massive Archives and Libraries as well as separate reading a meditation rooms for those who desire privacy with their books.

Main Level (Even with Plateau): The Main Level holds a number of things; first off, the eastern side is dedicated to Hangar space used by members of the House only. The Great Hall can also be found on this level and is commonly used when the Summit wishes to address the House. Beside the Great Hall the large and elegant dining halls are open to anyone who wishes to eat in company, but house members above the rank of Acolyte can opt to have servants bring their meals to them in their rooms. Lastly, the Main floor holds three turbo lifts. The left most lift requires only guest level security clearance and will bring you two any of the upper levels. The centre lift requires a house members retinal scan and security card and will bring you too the house quarters. The final lift is high security and can only be used by the current and past Aediles and Quaestors of Dinaari and the Dominus Sicarius. This final lift will bring you to the Summit offices in Sub-level Two.

Sub-level One: This floor houses all members of the clan and the services essential to them. Several training rooms, a secure library, weapon storage, Meditation rooms, small meeting rooms, and lounges.

Sub-level Two: This floor contains the Summit offices and personal quarters, as well as a personal hanger for the summit. This floor also holds a sealed meeting and map room used for wartime strategies and private meetings. Finally this floor contains an additional turbo lift that can only be used by the current Qua and Aed, which takes them to Sub-level Three.

Sub-level Three: The contents of the lowest floor are unknown. Only Previous Aediles and Quaestors know, and are sworn to secrecy.

Battleteams
Active Teams
*Dark Fire Brigade - Dinaari's oldest and most successful brigade
*Dark Avatar - A powerful battelteam that won the last known Brigade Wars
*Old Folk's Home - A relatively new team added for the aging members in Dinaari

Inactive Teams
*Dark Infantry - Created by Shadow Taldrya, Dark Infantry was used to gather intelligence on rival clans prior to a Great Jedi War
From the flames of battle, we take our strength.<br>
From the scattered ashes, victory is found.<br>
From the barren earth, unity is known.<br>
To feed off the Force is to make myself known.<br>
I am a warrior of the House Dinaari.<br>
In it's darkness I will thrive.

Information
When the Quaestor of Dinaari calls an assembly on Altur all members of Dinaari kneel down and chant the first part of the Code together. Afterwards, each member recites the last part on his or her own in front of the entire Hall. This ceremony is mainly used to welcome new members into Dinaari as it will be their first time ever reciting the Code. It is also used before important announcements that will affect the entire House.

The code was composed by Quaestor Shadow Taldrya during his second attempt at leading Dinaari. Most of the code brings to light Taldryan's Clan Specific Powers - Elements - which adds a more personal feeling for Taldryan members.

Dominus Sicarius
Historically
During the time of the war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance evil festered throughout the galaxy. Mercenaries and Bounty Hunters, paid assassins rose in power forming guilds and leagues based on skills and loyalty. Many of these guilds banded together to form a powerful organization known as the Black Death. The Black Death were not widely known to many people but they carried out many important contracts for both the Alliance and the Empire.

Members of the Black Death that proved their skills and honor above that of most men were called before the High Council and awarded a special title: Dominus Sicarius, or Master Assassin. This privileged title was only given to a rare few before the outcome of the Battle of Endor brought down the wrath of the New Republic Order on organized mercenaries. Until this day the title and what it stood had been lost to space and time.

Reinvented
In honor of House Dinaari's noble ancestors, Prelate Benevolent and Primarch Shadow decided to re-institute the awarding of the title, Dominus Sicarius to select individuals that earned the right to be the head of their personal guard. Bestowed upon members with the title is a personal weapon, a silver-plated Bryar Pistol with the Dinaari Claw etched into the side. A sign of power and loyalty to all within Taldryan, these weapons are most prized by the warriors of the House and prove deadly against their enemies.

On the first of every month the Quaestor and Aedile of Dinaari will select from amongst their ranks a person to carry the title of Master Assassin and award them the silver-plated Bryar pistol.

The Bryar pistol has long been House Dinaari's trademark dueling pistol. Though the weapon itself is inferior to the hundreds of weapons that are sold legally and illegally throughout the galaxy, the skill of a Dinaarian makes the weapon near to invincible, even against such weapons as rocket launchers and concussion rifles.

From the time of their induction as Apprentices into the house, members are trained in the art of the bryar pistol. Even after they've reached the rank of Knight and obtained their lightsaber, their training continues. It is more of a personal goal to perfect one's skill with the weapon. It shows that even the smallest weapon can hold tremendous power depending on how it's used. This is the core of Dinaarian philosophy and is felt by each member in turn.

Background Information
The Rite of the Firmament was rewarded to House Dinaari for winning the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy "Bloodrites". This Rite was first used by the Warriors of the Circled Dagger at the Siege of Monmora. High Master Jeraha, and his warriors of the Star Chamber, faced an onslaught of Jedi Masters the likes of which had not been encountered since the Battle of Deneba during the Great Sith War. Greatly outnumbered, Jeraha called upon the Darkness, and the allegiance of his circle of warriors. Ferran had vested in each the particular cunning of his own war-skills, and through this bond, Jeraha created the Rite, uniting the power of each participant so that all could tap deeper levels of the Dark Side through their mutual bonds of fraternity.

Krath scholars discovered the curious rite during excavations on Antei. When even the Oracle, Trevarus Caerick, was unable to decipher the requirements of the Ritual, the process was dictated to the Obelisk High Commander, who realized what it was. The Order of the Obelisk maintained enough of the traditions of the path of the Assassin, that he felt the cold resolve of Master Jeraha. High Commander Shaithis bestowed the secrets of this Art upon the Obelisk of House Dinaari of Clan Taldryan as a reward for their bravery.

To the East Hle Ithca drops down steeply into the Din-pwnata valley far below.

Dinaari Code
Code

To the East Hle Ithca drops down steeply into the Din-pwnata valley far below.

Level 3 (Mountain peak): The Peak of the mountain contains a number of meeting rooms and Guest quarters that provide a splendid view of the Valley and Plateau below. Having the guests housed on the top floor provides extra security and leaves a buffer distance between the Clan members and any potentially dangerous visitors.

Level 2 (Lower Peak): The Lower section of the peak contains Dinaari’s massive Archives and Libraries as well as separate reading a meditation rooms for those who desire privacy with their books.

Main Level (Even with Plateau): The Main Level holds a number of things; first off, the eastern side is dedicated to Hanger space used by members of the house only. Lastly the Main floor holds three turbo lifts. The left most lift requires only guest level security clearance and will bring you two any of the upper levels. The centre lift requires a house members retinal scan and security card and will bring you too the house quarters. The final lift is high security and can only be used by the current and past Aed’s and Qua’s of Dinaari and the Dominus Sicarius. This final lift will bring you to the Summit offices in Basement 2.

Basement 1: This floor houses all members of the clan and the services essential to them. Several training rooms, a secure library, weapon storage, Meditation rooms, small meeting rooms, and lounges.

Basement 2: This floor contains the Summit offices and personal quarters, as well as a personal hanger for the summit. This floor also holds a sealed meeting and map room used for wartime strategies and private meetings. Finally this floor contains an additional turbo lift that can only be used by the current Qua and Aed, which takes them to Basement 3.

Basement 3: The contents of the lowest floor are unknown. Only Previous Aed’s and Qua’s know, and are sworn to secrecy.
Dinaari Code
(Dinaari)
From the flames of battle, we take our strength.
From the scattered ashes, victory is found.
From the falling droplets, wounds will be healed.
From the barren earth, unity is known.

(Personal)
Through trial and experience my power grows.
To feed off the Force is to make myself known.
I am a warrior of the House Dinaari.
In it's darkness I will thrive.

---

When the Quaestor of Dinaari calls an assembly on Altur all members of Dinaari kneel down and chant the first part of the Code together. Afterwards, each member recites the last part on his or her own in front of the entire Hall.

This ceremony is mainly used to welcome new members into Dinaari as it will be their first time ever reciting the Code. It is also used before important announcements that will affect the entire House.

The code was composed by Quaestor Shadow during his second attempt at leading Dinaari.

A New Use

The Rite of the Firmament
And far beyond the vale of night
The vastness of time separated
the light from the darkness
And the Ancient One spoke
With a voice like thunder
A sound to shatter mountains
"Let there be a firmament
erected between the house of day
and the house of night
So that the passing of each
Shall never mingle with the wards
of dawn and twilight."

Having spoken thus,
They were separated thus
And the Ancient One was pleased

-From the Kerijanh Fragments of the Song of Son'Jiatt

Structure:

By reciting the following oath in perfect unison, all the assembled Jedi of the Obelisk Order will have a level of power equivalent to the highest ranking Obelisk in the group for the duration of their immediate conflict.

"Perficere Ferro Anima constatum invictum."

This ritual creates a singular consciousness within the Obelisk affected. Their personalities become fused into a communal mind, they have no free will. Instead, they are perfectly focused on the immediate danger until its conclusion, at which point the ritual immediately ceases effect.
The Rite of the Firmament
And far beyond the vale of night
The vastness of time separated
the light from the darkness
And the Ancient One spoke
With a voice like thunder
A sound to shatter mountains
"Let there be a firmament
erected between the house of day
and the house of night
So that the passing of each
Shall never mingle with the wards
of dawn and twilight."

Having spoken thus,
They were separated thus
And the Ancient One was pleased

-From the Kerijanh Fragments of the Song of Son'Jiatt

Leaving the planet on the YT-2000 Ice Fire-Knight forced the Pilot to teach him the basics of flight before he killed the man.

Leaving the planet on the YT-2000 Ice Fire-Knight forced the Pilot to teach him the basics of flight before he killed the man.
