Dasha doesn't fully remember parts of her early life prior to events not known to more than a few people.

The Sephi was in an Orphanage on Nar Shaddaa early in her life. The Orphanage was well camouflaged as a workhouse and source of young slaves. Another Sephi, Jala 'Rose' Zilar, is 8 years older than Dasha and adopted her as a younger sister. It was known that once they were of age, they would leave the orphanage free. Or so they thought. Rose was a couple days away from her freedom day when she was taken down to a room in the basement originally forbidden to the orphans to be sold as a slave. Dasha had stealthily followed.

As an Orphanage, it came under inspectors from more civil areas in the Galaxy in order to obtain children. During one of these visits was shortly after Dasha saw what happened to her adoptive older sister and accidentally let it slip to another boy as she was escaping. In a mock class for the inspectors, the boy innocently asked about the situation.

It was that night the boy disappeared. The next night, there was a fight that occurred and many of the orphans were massacred in their sleep. The inspectors had disappeared as the wardens had slipped into the urban sprawl. Dasha had escaped that night through the window and closed it behind her just before one of the wardens entered the sleeping area to murder her partially as revenge and partially to hide their operations.

Dasha escaped to the streets and became a young street rat while she looked for her older sister. She managed to find her last clothes in a dumpster and tracked down Rose. As she was a slave, she was eventually sold again and transported to Telerath of which Dasha slipped onto the transport and off at their destination, following her sister.

As Telerath is known for violence, Dasha watched from somewhat safety as a street rat and tried to learn from the fights she witnessed.

During one of Dasha's thieving attempts to survive, she ended up accidentally stowing away on transports. In some cases, the transport took off transporting her to various worlds. Her luck ran out and she sliced into a particular ship owned by [[Livana Agrona|Major Livana Agrona Dajorra]]. The ship's system detected and notified [[Elaine Agrona Erinos]], a Mandalorian whom decided to work for Livana. Elaine captured Dasha and brought the filthy street rat before Livana. Deciding to train an anonymous hand for her assassin operations, Livana offered to train Dasha as an assassin and take care of her accommodations should the young Sephi agrees to work her hardest. Having nothing to lose, Dasha accepted.

The training was harsh, starting with putting weight and lean muscle on the thin Sephi with a mixture of Zig's delicious cooking and strenuous stamina training and her Martial Art, Echani. Further training down the line focused more on the art of assassination.

She was dropped off on Chyron for a series of missions gaining the attention of Taldryan's SRI. Her targets never were directly Taldryan due to the influence of Livana, however, Dasha was never told of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood nor of the clans. Dasha understood of an organization that was strong in the area known as Taldryan at the time, didn't know of the extent of their control. She sometimes had to escape from situations and 'borrowed' speeders with Taldryan markings without care, but she didn't really know how to drive and most of them were incapacitated.

When she was done her last list with Livana, Dasha was released and let free as Dasha was trained enough to be able to do assassin work. Confused, Dasha waited for Livana, thinking the transmission had some type of error or was hacked. As she waited, she went back to her roots somewhat and ended up on a Taldryan ship that went to the [[Great Jedi War|13th GJW]] where she fluttered around to earn money for board back to Chryon. As the Severian Principate decided to prevent her from stating what was done to their enemies through her, they had sent assassins. Taldryan Consul, [[Justinios Drake|Justinios Taldrya Drake]], decided to offer her passage back to Chryon and protection from the others for this time should she fight for Taldryan. Dasha accepted.

A while later in 38 ABY, Consul [[Seraine "Erinyes" Taldrya Ténama]] decided to end her shenanigans on Chyron as bounties were drying up for members of Clan Taldryan and she was costing the clan money due to vehicular repairs and replacements. [[Appius Wight]] was sent to take care of her.

Using what little of data the SRI, then led by [[Vodo Biask Taldrya]], had Appius decided to try to recruit her rather than remove her. He faked being a client to lure Dasha to a local cantina. Though, sensing something was wrong, Dasha attempted to flee. Appius was able to track her signature through the force to her hideout in an abandoned building... where his armor was blown to pieces by her various traps. Granted, he was able to make it to her sanctum before she was able to flee. In their small fight including Dasha throwing blinding powder in Appius's eyes, Dasha was knocked out and carried to the Taldryan infirmary.

Bound to her bed and tempted by delicious food, Dasha begrudgingly accepted Appius's offer to join Taldryan. Not wanting to bite the hand that's feeding and sheltering her and yet having a grudge, she soon began to prank Appius with glitter bombs whenever she felt like it. During this time, she would also learn to slice into systems, mostly for information and so she could secretly set up her glitter bombs for Appius. Though, at the same time, Dasha bonded with Appius enough to not only trust him, but have the desire to protect him, even when he forced her to learn to read and write.

Dasha acted out by various things including slicing into the warehouse robots to do dance battles. This once again gained the attention of Consul Erinyes. She was lectured on the implications on her pranks in cold-hard truths and the casualties she had caused with them while being labeled with the nickname "Major Malfunction". As such, she was assigned to work with the SRI under the then-new Proconsul [[Xolarin]] due to her slicing abilities but also needing a babysitter.

During this time, she would also learn to slice into systems, mostly for information and so she could secretly set up her glitter bombs for Appius. Though, at the same time, Dasha bonded with Appius enough to not only trust him, but have the desire to protect him, even when he forced her to learn to read and write.

Dasha acted out by various things including slicing into the warehouse robots to do dance battles. This once again gained the attention of Consul Erinyes. She was lectured on the implications on her pranks in cold-hard truths and the casualties she had caused with them while being labeled with the nickname "Major Malfunction". As such, she was assigned to work with the SRI under the then-new Proconsul [[Xolarin]] due to her slicing abilities but also needing a babysitter.

The '''Loremaster of Taldryan''', formerly known as "Lorekeeper of Taldryan," is an honorary position granted to Taldryan's most proactive members. While in the position, the Taldryan Loremaster is in charge of Taldryan's lore and history, protecting its archives as well as the Clan's members and safety via the use of the Blood Bond Cauldron.

== History ==

In 39 ABY, then [[Consul]] Seraine "Erinyes" Ténama Taldrya discontinued the Lorekeeper position in Taldryan, determining that the role was of little significant use and instead created the Cohors Praetoria Taldryae, which has since been assigned to Taldryan's Warbringer.

The old Lorekeepers purpose was to serve as guardians of the Taldryan Vault on Karufr. Upon moving to the Caelus System, the Lorekeeper took residence in the Elysia Observatory and watched over Taldryan's artifacts and most prized possessions.

===Re-establishment===

In 40 ABY, Consul Appius Wight found that after several months of constant fighting within the Caelus System, it was time to re-establish the Lorekeepers under a new name and purpose. These "Loremasters" would retain part of their original purpose as guardians of Taldryan knowledge and secrets, but are now primarily tasked with ensuring the welfare of Clan Taldryan and its members above all else.

== The Loremasters ==
The new Roll of Loremasters is to be a listing of those who have committed themselves to Clan Taldryan and represent the Clan as best they can. They represent and embody Taldryan's storied tradition of maintaining its Lore and secrets, whilst ensuring the Clan's survival and prosperity for the future. As such, their names are forever inscribed in this Roll, commemorating their achievements in the field, and memorializing their contributions to Clan Taldryan forever.

=== Behind the Scenes ===

During the creation of Taldryan's artifacts, an idea was raised by then Proconsul Justinios Drake Taldrya to revive the old Lorekeeper and Gatekeeper positions for new purposes, with the use of the artifacts as potential rewards. Thus, Loremaster, Gatekeeper, and Warbringer were revived and created for this purpose with the Blood Bond Cauldron.

The members who win these awards are determined via a point-based system that follows Clusters earned, and competitions participated in. Giving every member of Taldryan the chance to earn one of the three titles, regardless of individual skill in certain areas.

Members who choose the Loremaster title obtain the Blood Bond Cauldron as an artifact for the quarter.

This title is not an official title (i.e.: it will never appear on a dossier), it is merely granted in order to give bragging rights to one of Taldryan's most active members over the course of a quarter. The title can be maintained for periods longer than a quarter if the member earns it.

== Character History ==
=== Early Life ===
Dasha doesn't fully remember parts of her early life prior to events not known to more than a few people.

The Sephi was in an Orphanage on Nar Shaddaa early in her life. The Orphanage was well camouflaged as a workhouse and source of young slaves. Another Sephi, Jala 'Rose' Zilar, is 8 years older than Dasha and adopted her as a younger sister. It was known that once they were of age, they would leave the orphanage free. Or so they thought. Rose was a couple days away from her freedom day when she was taken down to a room in the basement originally forbidden to the orphans to be sold as a slave. Dasha had stealthily followed.

As an Orphanage, it came under inspectors from more civil areas in the Galaxy in order to obtain children. During one of these visits was shortly after Dasha saw what happened to her adoptive older sister and accidently let it slip to another boy as she was escaping. In a mock class for the inspectors, the boy innocently asked about the situation.

It was that night the boy disappeared. The next night, there was a fight that occurred and many of the orphans were massacred in their sleep. The inspectors had disappeared as the wardens had slipped into the urban sprawl. Dasha had escaped that night through the window and closed it behind her just before one of the wardens entered the sleeping area to murder her partially as revenge and partially to hide their operations.

Dasha escaped to the streets and became a young street rat while she looked for her older sister. She managed to find her last clothes in a dumpster and tracked down Rose. As she was a slave, she was eventually sold again and transported to Telerath of which Dasha slipped onto the transport and off at their destination, following her sister.

As Telerath is known for violence, Dasha watched from somewhat safety as a street rat and tried to learn from the fights she witnessed.

=== Assassin Training ===
During one of Dasha's thieving attempts to survive, she ended up accidently stowing away on transports. In some cases, the transport took off transporting her to various worlds. Her luck ran out and she sliced into a particular ship owned by [[Livana Agrona|Major Livana Agrona Dajorra]]. The ship's system detected and notified [[Elaine Agrona Erinos]], a Mandalorian whom decided to work for Livana. Elaine captured Dasha and brought the filthy street rat before Livana. Deciding to train an anonymous hand for her assassin operations, Livana offered to train Dasha as an assassin and take care of her accommodations should the young Sephi agrees to work her hardest. Having nothing to lose, Dasha accepted.

The training was harsh, starting with putting weight and lean muscle on the thin Sephi with a mixture of Zig's delicious cooking and strenuous stamina training and her Martial Art, Echani. Further training down the line focused more on the art of assassination.

After most of her training was done and she had begun fieldwork, Dasha was quickly and quietly notorious due to her success. She was dropped off on Chyron for a series of missions gaining the attention of Taldryan's SRI. Her targets never were directly Taldryan due to the influence of Livana, however, Dasha was never told of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood nor of the clans. Dasha understood of an organization that was strong in the area known as Taldryan at the time, didn't know of the extent of their control. She sometimes had to escape from situations and 'borrowed' speeders with Taldryan markings without care, but she didn't really know how to drive and most of them were incapacitated.

When she was done her last list with Livana, Dasha was released and let free as Dasha was trained enough to be able to do assassin work. Confused, Dasha waited for Livana, thinking the transmission had some type of error or was hacked. As she waited, she went back to her roots somewhat and ended up on a Taldryan ship that went to the [[Great Jedi War|13th GJW]] where she fluttered around to earn money for board back to Chryon. As the Severian Principate decided to prevent her from stating what was done to their enemies through her, they had sent assassins. Taldryan Consul, [[Justinios Drake|Justinios Taldrya Drake]], decided to offer her passage back to Chryon and protection from the others for this time should she fight for Taldryan. Dasha accepted.

A while later in 38 ABY, Consul [[dossier:6393|Seraine "Erinyes" Taldrya Ténama]] decided to end her shenanigans on Chyron as bounties were drying up for members of Clan Taldryan and she was costing the clan money due to vehicular repairs and replacements. [[Appius Wight]] was sent to take care of her.

Using what little of data the SRI, then led by [[Vodo Biask Taldrya]], had Appius decided to try to recruit her rather than remove her. He faked being a client to lure Dasha to a local cantina. Though, sensing something was wrong, Dasha attempted to flee. Appius was able to track her signature through the force to her hideout in an abandoned building... where his armor was blown to pieces by her various traps. Granted, he was able to make it to her sanctum before she was able to flee. In their small fight including Dasha throwing blinding powder in Appius's eyes, Dasha was knocked out and carried to the Taldryan infirmary.
