Character History
Born on the Run
Vaneera Sarin's dunelizard had crashed on the planet of Dathomir in the Quelii Sector as she was trying to escape a Trandoshan bounty hunter. After running through the Dathomiran undergrowth, she had fallen at the feet of two Nightsisters by the names of Marva and Ja'herott. The Force Witches managed to scare off the Trandoshan but it was too late for the Zabrak. In Vaneera's last breaths, the Nightsisters had discovered that the dying Zabrak was with child.

Thankfully, the child was female, and the pair had decided to raise the foundling as a Nightsister, caming her Axi Zorax, 'Outlander'. Had the baby been male, there is no doubt that it would have been left in the undergrowth.

Brought back to the Nightsister city, Axi was taught the ways of the sisters, how to tame the beasts, how to fight, and how to use the Dark Side. It was her natural affinity for the art that brought more than a few jealous stares from the native Dathomiri. The other Nightsisters feared that the outlander would take control of the tribe, and began to ostracize her more.

Left alone most of the time, Axi began to explore the outlying areas, practicing her skills against the native creatures.

Mother's Legacy
Axi came across her mother's downed dunelizard in the Dathomiran jungle. It had just enough power for her to check the ships logs:
Iridonian year 32544: I'm being pursued by a Trandoshan in the Quelli sector. I've been hit and have lost power to my shields. I'm landing on Dathomir... maybe the stories will get that snake off of my trail. Hopefully I can get the shields back up so I can make it home. It won't be long before Ashia comes...I can feel her kicking, getting ready to come out. Ashia Kagan. It's a good name. I just hope that the 55 credits I have remaining is enough to get us started. - Vanerra Sarin.

Axi 's mind reeled at the information. Ja'herott had told her that she came from the stars, but left the rest to her imagination, insisting that she was a Nightsister now. Marva was more abrasive, but Axi wouldn't have guessed this. Running her hands over her head, she sought the bony horns that would mark her as a Zabrak, but found none, only bony ridges beneath the wild hair.

Maybe she was supposed to be a Nightsister after all.

The Nightsister's Trials
The time had come. Axi and the other young ones were to be tested, going into the wilds on a number of final training exercises and tests to see if they were strong enough to be called a Nightsister. Even then, treachery had seeped into the game, when the mother of one of her classmates had released a Nexu into the wilds on Axi's day to hunt, fully expecting the wild cat to remove her daughter's competition for the clan leader. Axi would not go down that easily, however, slaughtering the Nexu after a long combat, finally lancing the feral monster with her spear.

There would be more trials, but tradition and honor fouled the progress. Tradition held that any of the students could challenge each other to combat, with the loser being forced to quit the trials, having to wait until next year to complete them. Medezera made such a challenge at the urging of her mother, the current clan leader. Believing herself to be far more graceful than was capable of her stout and stocky form, she had been convinced that she could best the outlander in combat.

Axi refused the challenge, a grave insult to the Nightsister. Flying into a rage, the Nightsister burned Axi's home, and her mother sent warriors to slay the outlander.

Sensing the trauma in the Force long before it arrived, Axi fled the village, knowing that she couldn't stand up to the clan leader's assaults. She ran her Rancor to death, the beast falling dead of exhaustion miles from a pirate outpost. The young Zabrak finally came into the outpost, begging for passage off of Dathomir. She found that 55 credits wasn't nearly enough to book passage to any civilized world, and that she'd have to work aboard in order to get away from the planet.

Axi did what she had to, sneaking aboard a clumsy smuggler's ship, hiding in the cargo hold and using the Force to keep her life signs down until the ship reached a trade outpost on the outer rim of the Tingel Arm. Slinking off the ship as the smuggler unloaded his goods, Axi found that her credits weren't good this far from the core worlds. Hungry, cold, and tired, Axi looked for some way to start a new life.

As it turned out, this new life would be in an Autochthonian uniform.

Autochthonia
The Autochthonian Navy, a foreign legion of sorts, happened to have a ship at the trade outpost, there to escort a dignatary of their government. Axi was drawn to the dark uniforms and sleek ship like a magnet.

Stopped at the dock by security, she begged to be allowed in, trying to explain that she wanted to join the armed force as the noble moved past. Eyes moved toward the commotion, and the High Lord Darrow and his dark-robed Jedi saw her. Quick words were exchanged between the two, and the order was given to bring her aboard and clean her up.

Axi had decided with this new life, she would use the name her mother had chosen for her. Ashia Kagan was reborn that day.

She found herself in new clothes and well fed in a matter of minutes, one of the sergeants taking her to the training hall aboard the ship to test her skills as a soldier. Impressed by her hand to hand skills, but less so for her poor handling of a blaster, the High Lord had decided that she would be trained as a member of his personal security detail.

She would find herself training under the Darrow's Dark-Robed Jedi, an exile by the name of Muz, as they would keep the High Lord safe on his reckless adventures across wild space. A relationship bloomed between the pair, brought closer in their odd master-student pairing. He taught her the ways of the Jedi, and even helped her build her own lightsaber.

Yet, something within the Jedi was wrong to Ashia. She watched him in combat, his demeanor changing as he tore through those who would harm the High Lord, disembowling them with ease and gusto. The Jedi was vicious, and seemed uncontrollable when he would go into combat. And Ashia knew that it was a bad idea...that if he knew what grew in her belly...

Ashia left the Autochthonians, slipping off-board when Muz was deep in meditation, and catching a ship far away.

A Child is Born
Sanjuro was born in 17 ABY on Cerodross. Alone, with little money left, and the ship she had bought needing repairs, she knew that she couldn't raise the boy on her own. She had decided that she would go to Yavin, seek out the Jedi that taught Muz before he had left to the Autochthonians, complete her training, and be able to support her and her son.

One thing remained: Muz had told her how the Jedi of Yavin eschewed personal relationships. She knew that this meant that they would take her boy away from her, raising him themselves, with her possibly not even involved in the rearing of her son.

This was unacceptable to her. She decided to move on her own, bringing the boy to a monastery while she went to the Jedi for training. The monks would watch her son for a few months, keeping him safe until she would reclaim him. She left her new name with him, taking up the mantle of 'Axi Zorax' as she headed for Yavin.

Heading Towards the Light
She found the new Jedi Academy without much hassle, the Force guiding her directly to the Skywalker's school. Once there, the masters pelted her with questions, about the Nightsisters, about her time away from them, and what she had done since leaving Dathomir. She was careful in what she shared, knowing full well that if she told them about her child that they would go and claim him for their school.
Having sated their inquiries, she began to be tutored in the Ways of the Force, their teachings trying to overwrite the cruelty that the Nightsisters had ingrained. They felt good in her, sensing her drive to suppoprt her son, no doubt. The Masters were a bit anxious about her age, but her previous training, however it may have come, made her an asset to the Academy. Even if they wouldn't use her in the field, she could help underneath the Masters.

One of the Masters, a grizzled old jedi by the name of Eojin Quon-Shen, stayed close to the young Zabrak. He sensed the essence of one of his old students on the girl, feeling ties that bound her to him somehow, however faint. He tried to find out information from her, to the whereabouts of Muz, trying to find him so he could bring him back to the light, but she would not say anything.

Much to Eojin's annoyance, Axi was finally deemed ready for the trials to Knighthood. She constructed her saber with ease, her methods ringing familiar with several of the Masters on the council, and the rest of her trials went as easily for her. She was quickly Knighted, and given a position in maintaining the growing library.

This post did not suit Axi. She had hoped for a regular sort of assignment, sent out as a peacekeeper, off on missions where she could stop by and see her son between checkpoints. As discontent grew in her, she became more and more insular, until she finally finished repairs on her ship and left.

Drifting Backwards into Darkness
Cerodross was not the place she had left. Returning to retrieve her son, she had found the monastery a smouldering ruin. Filled with sorrow and rage, Ashia vowed to destroy the people who had taken her son from her.

But she would have to find them first.

Heading to Bespin, she knew she could find a way to make money in the gambling pens of the Cloud City. Aided by the Force, the Zabrak found herself much richer when she left, several nobles having left with considerably less money than when they arrived. She headed back to the Trade Outpost, deep on the Tingel Arm, hoping to catch an Autochthonian ship, and maybe even Muz, but without luck.

She did however, find an opportunity to increase her connections. By working for EbonArms, a wild space manufacturer of weapons, she could ferry weaponry across the borders of the New Republic, build up an entourage of soldiers loyal to her, and build up enough wealth to make sure that she could continue her hunt.

She began running small amounts of cargo across the border in a ship that the company provided, her own personal ship, a Z-95 headhunter she called the 'Persephone', stowed away in the docking bay.
What she didn't know was twofold. The cargo she was moving was Adegan Crystals, and that EbonArms was owned by Muz. She would run the crates of Adegans from the Trade Outpost and take them to a backwater planet called Kyataru, dropping them off at a shoddy landing platform next to a damaged castle. Her only contacts were droids on either side, but the credits paid well, and she was able to speak with a lot of other smugglers, building her own spy network.

Word had come in one day, that the Cerodross incident was incited by Dark Jedi from a place called Antei, somewhere deep inside the ancient Sith empire. Ashia began to formulate a plan, debating if she should bring the Jedi she left to take on the Sith, her revenge becoming complete against those who took her son from her.

Her plan never reached fruition, a young Zabrak boy with violet eyes catching her by surprise off of Kyataru. He had stunned her and injected her with some sort of sedative. Something about the boy was too familiar, and in dreams, she slipped and called him Sanjuro.

Sepros
She woke on soft cushions, her eyes catching an all too familiar sight. The swords of Muz sat on a table not far from where she lay. She was aboard an Autochthonian ship, she could tell by the sound of the engines. Panicking, she thought that Muz had discovered that she had given birth to his son, and had gone to kill the monks, his son, and now, her.

The truth was further removed. Muz had found his son indeed, and he had been waiting for the right time to bring her back to his side. Once again, Muz brought her to him, and began reteaching her the things that she needed to know, telling her about the Brotherhood, Antei, and how the Dark Side really worked.

Ashia digested all of this, and finally, the desire to be with her family won out over her reservations. In the darkness, it seemed that Muz had found the resolve to keep his demons at bay, to keep them leashed to his will. No longer pretending at being a neutral servant of the Force as the Jedi had tought them, Ashia joined Clan Naga Sadow.

Kyataru
As Ashia fought her way back up the ladder of power, she flourished under the training of the Herald, his lessons helping her strength grow as they had helped their son. She had begun her Knight trials, having claimed several sabers for herself in personal combat.

Muz had decided that it was time.

He took his sos and the rest of his previously lost family to their homeworld, preparing to take back the planet, his birthright. He had amassed a small army of clones and droids and was going to devastate the people who split his family apart so many years ago. Ashia wanted to go with them, but she was told of another, more important, plan.

She would go to Kamino, bringing back necessary reinforcements for their war effort, sealing the fate of the Nagahide forces that fought the Keibatsu. The death of the warlord at Muz's hands had secured their rightful place as rulers of the realm. Standing at the dawn of a new age for the bloodline and his people, Muz asked Ashia to join his family as his wife.

Malachor V
In the shadows of the ancient ruins on Malachor V, Ashia faced a horror she had thought long since passed. Something tracked them in the ruins, having killed great creatures before they had the chance to hurt her and her comrades.

When Muz appeared, all knew that the Herald had gone mad, succumbing to his inner darkness much as Ashia had feared. He faced his brothers in combat, distracted from murdering them only by the timely arrival of Eojin Quon-Shen.

Ashia tracked the two as the vanished into the darkness, aided by the Krath witch Xia Long, a longtime ally of the Keibatsu. She had to see this ended, and could not bear to think of repeating history. Delving into the Dreamworld, the Krath and her found the Herald, locked in combat with his own demon, a writhing mass of Hatred that was unlocked by recent events on Antei.
Ashia had stared into the abyss, and he had stared right back, its eyes burrowing into her soul.

Muz had finally chained the beast in his own hatred, hatred for what the Jedi had done to him and his family, and used his prowess to drive the Master off, Eojin scurrying away in regret and fear. As for Ashia, she was haunted by the beast within her lover, as his madness would touch her mind from time to time.

Ashia had overcome her final trial, and was once again, named as a Knight, this time of the Dark Brotherhood.

The 7th Great Jedi War
The 7th Great Jedi War in 25 ABY divided the clans, the houses, everyone when a clone of Jac Cotelin appeared claiming to be the Grand Master. Ashia pulled up the specs on the Grand Master's saber's from database on the Fallen Spear. She realized that the Herald put a signature on all his sabers and that would prove which one was the clone.

She left immediately left for Karufr and the Taldryan Headquarters to try to prove her theory.

Posing as an Arms Manufactuer she fooled the small minds at the service entrances and made her way towards the main audience chamber where she found Duga announcing what he believed to be the true Grand Master. A man that looked exacately like Jac Cotelin approached the podium accompanied by his Deputy Grand Master, Xanos Sadow.

Slinking through the shadows, Ashia watched from a distance as the 'Grand Master' addressed the crowd. She noticed something. He wasn't wearing his sabers. Something was definitely wrong...the Grand Master wouldn't be seen with out his sabers. She had to get to the bottom of this.

She slide through the hallways and moved upwards silently until she reached the upper chambers and found what she sought... Jac Cotelin's sabers. One had been crafted by Cyris Oscura and the other by her husband, Muz Ashen. She picked up the one that was done by Muz and reached out with the Force. She examined it closely and found her suspcions to be true, it was a fake. A reproduction. She hung it from her belt and turned to leave only to be encounter by Xanos himself.

Knowing she could never fight him, she tried to reason. She explained that Muz put a force signature on all his sabers so they couldn't be copied. All he had to do was look at it through the Force. The Jedi Master took the sabre from her and sent her off. She never knew why he didn't kill her, but it left a distrust between the two that only seemed to grow deeper with time.

Eventually, her suspicions were realized as the idenity of the real Grand Master was revealed and the clone was destroyed.

Rite of Supremacy: Second Darkness
Ashia helped forge forward with the clan as Grand Master Sarin announced the military exercises outside the Shroud of Antei. A joint effort between the clans with many simulations held in space, the exercise went interestingly for her.

Throughout the aggressions between the clans, she felt something; a subtle glimmer of betrayal from within the Brotherhood. She brought this to conversation with her husband, the Herald of the Brotherhood, and the feelings were easily dismissed. Returning to the fray with her son and the rest of her family, she sought to prove Sadow's mastery on the battlefield.

As the exercise drew to a close, medals were awarded, and her husband was named as Deputy to the Grand Master, the parties were about to erupt aboard the Naga Sadow flagship when the unspeakable happened.

The 8th Great Jedi War: The Incursion
The Yuuzhan Vong attacked the Brotherhood at the least opportune time. Soldiers weary and weapons charged for simulation, it was all that anyone could do to survive the first onslaught. The Orders from the Dark Lord reverberated through all the ships of the clans. They were to escape.
They had already thought of that. Interdictor mines laced the area, tearing one of the Taldryan ships to shreds as it tried to flee. Panic set in, as the orders changed.... to escape into the miasma of the Shroud. As they retreated, Ashia stood aboard the bridge of the Sadow capital ship, the Covenant, watching in terror as a behemoth of warfare, a capital ship of the Vong, seized the Vae Victus and tore it asunder. She felt the connection between her and her husband flicker and fade.

Tempering her grief into rage, Ashia drew her strength to her as best as she could, trying to rally the Sadow toward Antei, to regroup with old allies there and make a stand.

As Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh, the Archpriestess felt it was her duty to be on board her own vessel at this time. Her brother-in-law, Shin’ichi, who had just been named Proconsul by Consul Macron Sadow, argued with her as usual, but realized it was a pointless battle.

As she battled her way to the hangar bay, she ran into, Trevarus Caerick and Lord Vexatus. It was at this time that she saw Shan Long emerge for the first time. She watched in utter horror and disgust as the beast devoured the Vong, escaping into the belly of the ship in search of more prey.

After finally reaching her own command, the Wandering Soul, she discovered Ashura Isradia had set off the decompression system. Crew members, Dark Jedi and Vong alike spewed forth from the ship like so much space trash. Once aboard, the Keibatsu made for the bridge only find a smug smile on Isradia, a burning animosity swelled between the two.

As the Shroud destroyed the navigational capacities, she lost track of several of the smaller Sadow ships, including the transport that her own son had been aboard. Having lost both her husband and her son, rage crossed over into fury. Meanwhile as, Trevarus Caerick was reigniting the fear of the journeymen with his wanton displays, Ashia's violence was more precise and doubly so as she felt a glimmer through the force that let her know that her lover was still alive.

Retreating from Antei to return to the Orian System, the clan was demoralized. Having been beaten by a superior force for the first time in history, the Brotherhood retreated to nurse their wounds. Word came in that her husband was found, strapped into a Vong Coralskipper and saved by Kaine Mandaala and Sarin. She took her leave of Orion, rendezvousing with one of the new Dark Council ships to sit at the side of Muz's bacta tank, hoping for a recovery.

It was only a few short months before they had gotten word of Sanjuro's survival. Rallying the bloodline and a few close allies, they made their way into Lost Space, near the Autoch space to track down a wounded Vong ship and lay waste to those that would harm a Keibatsu. Reunited, they returned home, where Ashia was named first as Trevarus's Proconsul in Sadow, then as his successor as he retired to delve deeper into his studies.

Politics in the clan rose to a fever pitch after the chaos of losing Antei came to bear on them all. Resentment bred in dark corners of Sepros, and those who once counted themselves as Ashia's allies began to speak spiteful things, undermining her actions as consul. Deciding to retire rather than fight against former allies, Ashia began to spend more and more time on Kyataru with Shin'ichi and Sanjuro.

Great Jedi War 9 - Unification
When the fleets jumped back to Antei, using the assembled Grand Masters of the Star Chamber to guide them, they were surprised. Instead of finding the Vong, who they had hoped to have the chance to brutalize, they found them already dead or dying. In their place, a twisted Jedi named Omancor Crask and his force of Jedi and battle droids had taken over the Dark Hall.

Ashia had taken her leave of the Brotherhood with Grand Master Sarin’s approval and went in search of answers to questions she’d had for quite some time. Who was her father? She traveled to Iridonia and spent the next couple of years in seclusion. Only being in contact with Shin’ichi and Sanjuro and her husband from time to time, however, months would go by without any contact at all as she meditated, searched and honed her skills.

Upon her return to the Brotherhood, she learned of the war and of Sarin's death, which left a Son of Sadow on the Iron Throne for the first time in History, there was much jubilation even as they completed the campaign, routing many of the droids from the Hall of Immortals, which was sadly devastated.

It was at this time Ashia’s loyalty was divided between Clan Naga Sadow and the oath the Keibatsu had sworn to Astronicus Aurelius Sadow and her husband, Muz Ashen Keibatsu, a true Sith Lord. Ashia spoke to the family and division there ensued. Some agreeing they should be following Muz and the rest feeling they should keep their oath to Astronicus.

The Call to Revan
As the dust settled, and the Clans retired to their homes again, rumors began to surface that Raken, the former confidante and Praetor to Sarin, was unhappy with the change of leadership and had been seeking to create a new home for himself, having eschewed clan life for much of his time in the Brotherhood. When word of the house reached Ashia, it came with an interesting request from the Dark Lord.

Muz had reason to suspect that Sarin had been resurrected and was seeking to reclaim the throne by way of this new house. She, along with her son Sanjuro and Brother-in-law, Shin'ichi Keibatsu were tasked with infiltrating the organization and subverting any plots before they came to fruition. The time had come and her loyalty was no longer divided; she would renounce her loyalty to Naga Sadow for that of her husband.

Receiving the secret transmissions from coded frequencies, Ashia led the triumverate of Keibatsu through the ranks of Revan, securing their place within the organization, serving under the man who would later be revealed to be Sarin himself.

Right of Supremacy: Spoils of War
Seeking to test the Brotherhood as well as seize control of a planet without dedicating more of his valuable troops to the cause, Muz drew the Clans and Revan to Salas V to defeat the indigenous creatures there as well as prove their superiority. This time, the youngest House proved its viability, defeating clans twice their size in open warfare and thanks to superb tactics, revealing Sarin as himself to the Dark Council once more.

Muz immediately summoned the Sith Lord into service as his deputy, a reversal of the roles played by the pair before, leaving House Revan adrift, leaderless. Ashia took it upon herself to take the young Eiko Lanzer under her wing, helping him assume the mantle of Quaestor of Revan, a position with many a bullseye on it, due to the attention garnered during the Rite of Supremacy.

The Sons of Sadow are the epitome of Clan Naga Sadow and the chosen of Tron Sadow, the true Heir of Sadow and the Overlord of the Sons. They represent the most unquestionably loyal and powerful Dark Jedi ever to have walked the great halls of Sadow Palace. Initiation into the Sons of Sadow is an accomplishment that only the greatest Equites, and indeed Elders, within the Clan can realize. They have most often passed through the doors to Sadow Palace on Sepros itself, frequently having served as Consuls and Proconsuls of the Clan, using their wisdom and cosmic influence to shape the entire Clan.

Entry into the Sons of Sadow is not to be taken lightly. After being initiated the bond can never be broken. Those who turn traitor and desert the Clan are stripped of their title and cast out for all time. The mark of a Son or Daughter of Sadow symbolises complete and total devotion beyond all other commitments.

Roll of the Sons of Sadow
Loyalists
*Tron Sadow, Heir of Sadow, Overlord of the Sons, Consul Emeritus

*Malik, Son of Sadow, Consul Emeritus

*Macron Goura Keibatsu, Son of Sadow, Consul Emeritus

*Muz Ashen Keibatsu, Son of Sadow

*Shin'ichi Endymiron Keibatsu, Son of Sadow, Proconsul Emeritus

*Sildrin Rys-Hastur, Daughter of Sadow

*Raistlin Majerus, Son of Sadow

*Janos Silverwulf, Son of Sadow

*Robert Daragon, Son of Sadow

Apostates
*Xanos Zorrixor, Son of Sadow, Overlord of Kressh, Consul Emeritus

*Trevarus Caerick, Son of Sadow, Overlord of Ragnos, Consul Emeritus

Fictional Role
Fictionally the Sons of Sadow are the chosen followers of Tron Sadow. They swear an oath of allegiance to the Overlord of the Sons in his role as the Heir of Sadow. The Sons uphold the Overlord's true command of Clan Naga Sadow and act to enforce his will. Should a Consul ever attempt to question the authority of the Overlord they can expect a swift death at the hands of the Sons. They are loyal zealots, adherents to the Overlord's word and the most devout followers of Clan Naga Sadow.

Background Information
*Status as a Son of Sadow is the highest award Clan Naga Sadow can bestow upon one of its members. The entry criteria are strict and it will often take several years of work on the Clan Summit to earn the title. After one of the existing Sons deems a member worthy a vote will be held by the Sons to assess the member's eligibility.
*The title Son of Sadow can be used either as an addition after the member's name or incorporated into their name directly as in the case of Tron Sadow, formerly Tron Dlarit.
*The term Heir of Sadow is unique to Tron Sadow as the Overlord of the Sons and cannot be used by any other.
*Those found using the name Sadow without having been accepted into the Sons of Sadow should expect the Master At Arms to remove it.
*Former Sons are those who have given up the title officially for one reason or another.
*Apostate Sons still hold the title officially but have fictionally forsaken the Clan.
"Dominatio per Noctis"

House Ludo Kressh is one of two currently active houses in Clan Naga Sadow. When the Dark Brotherhood had order-specific houses, Ludo Kressh was the Sith arm of the clan. It is named after the Sith Lord Ludo Kressh. There are three battleteams: Iron Fist Brigade, Jade Serpents, and Sapphire Squadron.

House Ludo Kressh's Quaestor is currently Krath Priest Ashia Kagan Keibatsu, and its Aedile is currently Dark Jedi Knight Tsingtao Ming.

History
Eagleye - 1st Quaestor
The first Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh was Obelisk Warrior Eagleye. During his tenure, a temporary base of operations for the house was established on the planet of Ullyr in the Phare system.

However, soon after the formation of Clan Naga Sadow, many leaders left the clan, and power shifted several times. Proconsul Bob-Fett took a voluntary demotion to lead House Marka Ragnos. Obelisk Warrior Eagleye and Guardian Manesh were the only two applicants for the Proconsul position. Given his vast experience, Eagleye was the obvious choice for Proconsul, and he was promoted.

This left a void in House Ludo Kressh. For unknown reasons, the Aedile of House Ludo Kressh, Dark Jedi Knight Khaine Seth, did not apply for the vacant Quaestor position, and the position was given to newly promoted Sith Warrior Manesh Sadow.

Aediles

*Khaine Seth (1st Aedile) - When House Ludo Kressh came into being, Khaine Seth was a Dark Jedi Knight and was appointed to the role. Not much is known about his history prior to becoming an Aedile.

Manesh Sadow - 2nd Quaestor
Manesh Sadow stands at the longest continuously reigning Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh, with a term of about 16 months.

Two months into his tenure, Grand Master Justinian Khyron proclaimed that houses in the Dark Brotherhood would be order-specific. House Ludo Kressh at the time consisted of members of all orders, after the restructuring, the house would be the Sith arm of Clan Naga Sadow. Many leaders of houses lost their positions during this restructuring, but Sith Warrior Manesh and Dark Jedi Knight Khaine Seth remained Quaestor and Aedile of House Ludo Kressh. This was perhaps by sheer luck instead of any demonstration of skill (Manesh had only been Quaestor for about two months prior to this change).

Hoping that there would be no further disruption in the Dark Brotherhood, Manesh and the members of House Ludo Kressh proceeded to build the house. Manesh always felt that in order to gain the trust and loyalty of his members, almost all efforts in the house would have to be cooperative. Therefore most decisions were considered by all active members of the house before being finalized by Manesh.

Back in those days, house communication and record keeping wasn't as automated as it currently is. Those circumstances, combined with the healthy size of the house, necessitated the need for a house rollmaster. The first roll master of the house was Dark Jedi Knight Kale, inherited from Eagleye's reign. In addition, a unified communications system, otherwise known as a “mailing list” was created to improve the efficiency of the house communications system. It was initially Kale's sole responsibility to maintain this mailing list manually, however he grew to become a third leader of the house. At the time, the house was so active that several members complained about the bulk of communication.

Three squadrons were formed, and after approval from the newly appointed commanders and the general house membership, they were implemented. Manesh started his career in the Emperor's Hammer Corporate Division and remembered the squadron names then. He therefore used the same squadron names in the house: Emerald, Sapphire, and Diamond. After the names and commanders were established, members were assigned.

About 18 weeks into his tenure as Quaestor, Manesh was promoted to Sith Battlemaster (SBM). A month later, DJK Khaine Seth retired as Aedile and was replaced by newly promoted Sith Warrior Kale, the rollmaster. Soon thereafter, the house deliberated for months, and with hundreds of emails, as to what kind of base to build, and what kind of facilities it would need. This involved a lot of petty bickering, and many changes. However, the decisions that Manesh made were final.

After hundreds of emails, the final base was established. The base built was an underwater base, with over 20 levels running deep underground. It might be considered one of the most well thought out and intricate bases in Dark Brotherhood history. (See: House Ludo Kressh Ullyr Base)

One of the more persistent and (and some say troublesome) members of the house was Jedi Hunter Goatham. The damned most active and eager-to-please member of the Dark Brotherhood, according to Manesh. Since Goatham needed an outlet for his enthusiasm, Manesh created the Shadow Academy Motivator (SAM) system, with Goatham in charge. The SAM system was similar in function to the current Envoy system employed by the Dark Brotherhood.

During Manesh's tenure several Consuls and Proconsuls resigned. These things happen naturally over the passage of two years. Manesh was offered the Proconsul position many times, but stubbornly refused. However, he knew that by staying in his position, he was holding back Aedile Kale. He eventually recommended Kale for the Proconsul position. At some point Kale became the Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow.

Choosing a replacement for Kale was a tough decision for Manesh. DJK Bond and DJK Goatham joined the Dark Brotherhood around the same time (although Goatham joined slightly earlier). Bond completed the Shadow Academy faster, and Goatham got in trouble for whatever reason. They were both extremely active. Goatham was the Shadow Academy Motivator, and Bond was the rollmaster. They were two outstanding members of the house, however Manesh chose Goatham as the new Aedile. That decision haunts the Clan to this day. Bond remained as roll master.

Manesh's reign was also known for the many aborted DB-wide competitions. Therefore the house did not have many opportunities to prove itself against the rest of the Dark Brotherhood. However, there was Operation Darkfall, a DB-wide competition in which HLK members ranked pretty well. The house was the 2nd ranked Sith house, and Clan Naga Sadow ranked 3rd.

Manesh created a point system to help standardize promotions in the house. It was eventually removed by DGM Astatine. There was a Great Jedi War, and Clan Naga Sadow placed 2nd in that competition, and House Ludo Kressh was an integral part of that effort.

All in all, Manesh served under almost a dozen Consuls of Clan Naga Sadow, and four Grand Masters of the Dark Brotherhood. He was promoted to Sith Battlelord during those two years. So what could have possibly ended what seemed to be the never ending tenure of Manesh? Well, he was offered a position on the Emperor's Hammer High Court of Inquisitors (HCI), and this required him to resign his position as Quaestor. Replacing him was SW Goatham, the seemingly perpetual Aedile of HLK.

What about Bond? DJK Bond was promoted to Sith Warrior, but shortly thereafter transferred to House Marka Ragnos. He felt that remaining in the house, and taking the position of Aedile, as Manesh requested, would produce a schism of power in the house. In order to avoid that, he transferred to the Krath house, Marka Ragnos, amicably.

Aediles

*Khaine Seth (1st Aedile) - Khaine Seth was the Aedile of House Ludo Kressh under Eagleye. It is unknown why Khaine Seth did not apply for the Quaestorship when Eagleye left. Manesh remembers Khaine Seth as being a good Quaestor. However, due to a misunderstanding, Khaine Seth left. Manesh was unaware that Khaine Seth had taken extended leave, treated it as AWOL, and dismissed Khaine Seth from Aedile.

*Kale (2nd Aedile) - Kale was the Rollmaster of the house and in time became an integral part of the House's leadership. When Khaine Seth was dismissed, Kale became the obvious choice for Aedile. Eventually Kale was elevated to Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, and later became Consul.

*Goatham (3rd Aedile) - When Kale became Proconsul, the Aedile spot was vacant once again. This time Manesh's choice was between Rollmaster Bond and Squadron leader Goatham. For details of this decision, check the main section.

Xanos Sadow - 3rd Quaestor
A Dark Jedi Master now, Xanos Sadow, known then as Goatham, stands as one of the most prominent leaders of Clan Naga Sadow. The leadership skills that benefited the entire Dark Brotherhood were formed as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh.

With Bond's transfer, Goatham's first job was to appoint a new Aedile and Rollmaster. With several well-deserving Dark Jedi Knights in the house, only one could be chosen. Goatham eventually chose DJK Scithe as his Aedile. SW Bond returned to the house as Rollmaster.

The first main challenge Goatham faced was a decline in activity in the latter months of Manesh's tenure. Goatham solved this quickly by starting up competitions and promoting activity on the run-on. One of these competitions was a competition with Clan Arcona, in which House Ludo Kressh crushed House Oriens Obscurum.

The design of the house's base was further refined by DJK Scithe, with detailed plans. In addition, the many of the rules and guidelines designed for HLK members were improved and were made more consistent. In addition, Goatham and Scithe implemented several extensions of the squadron system in the house. The Ullyrian Home Guard housed the retirees of the house, and Ruby Flight housed the elite pilots of the house. In addition, a ladder system was created to help determine where the members of Ruby would come from.

With the implementation of these new policies and a superb victory against HOO, Goatham was promoted to Sith Battlemaster (SBM).

Goatham sought to engage the house against some of the more renowned clans in the Dark Brotherhood. He challenged House Archanis of Taldryan, one of the most famed Sith houses in the Dark Brotherhood, and Ludo Kressh once again succeeded against one of the best houses in the Dark Brotherhood.

During this competition, former Aedile of House Ludo Kressh, SBL Kale, was appointed Consul of Clan Naga Sadow, after the resignation of KAP Trevarus Caerick.

With two victories in line, Goatham sought to maintain and expand upon the momentum of the house. Clan Naga Sadow challenged Clan Satal Keto, another strong Clan in the Dark Brotherhood. However, the competition was not organized properly, and even though the results clearly showed a CSK victory, the competition was considered a draw. It was a very sober conclusion to a winning streak for the house.

There was a small conspiracy involving the abuse of Fred the seal, the Sapphire Squadron Mascot.

The house was finally given a chance to prove itself when a DB-wide vendetta was announced. This would put the house and clan against the rest of the Dark Brotherhood. In the end, the house placed 3rd among Sith houses, with its main strength coming from the mission creation portions. Unfortunately, Clan Naga Sadow placed 5th overall.

Shortly thereafter Goatham was promoted to Sith Battlelord. In addition, future QUA of HLK, Malik was named QUA of House Ronin of Alvaak. Outside of the house, a new Grand Master of the Brotherhood was named, Firefox.

After the vendetta, the Dark Brotherhood overall fell quiet for a while, however the house continued running regular competitions. For bolstering the house over almost a year, Goatham was awarded the Sapphire Blade, an award most members only dream of.

However, all good things must come to an end, and after 13 months at the helm of House Ludo Kressh, Goatham was promoted to Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. Replacing him was long-serving Aedile, newly promoted Sith Battlemaster Scithe.

Aediles

*Scithe (4th Aedile) - He was Sapphire Squadron Commander before becoming Goatham's Aedile and eventually became Quaestor after Goatham's appointment to Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow.

Scithe - 4th Quaestor
At the same time Goatham appointed Scithe as his successor, he also named Sith Warrior CrimsonAngel as Aedile. Something Goatham started and Scithe was committed to continuing was the development of the House squadrons as a source of activity in the house.

Unfortunately, the early weeks of Scithe's tenure was plagued with a decline in activity in the house and the resignation of Aedile SW CrimsonAngel. After losing the position to Goatham over a year earlier, SBM Bond was appointed Aedile.

These patterns seemed out of Scithe's control, and got even worse when several members, including 2 squadron commanders, either went rogue or left for other houses.

The Sith High Warrior ran a competition for all of the Sith houses in the Dark Brotherhood. However, the house squadrons did not do very well in the competition.

Even Bond, who originally wanted the position of Aedile so badly, resigned from the position, and replacing him was SW Abel Malik.

[Missing data from the 2nd half of 2002]

At some point Goatham was made Consul of Clan Naga Sadow, and Trevarus Caerick returned as Proconsul of the clan. Abel Malik resigned as Aedile of House Ludo Kressh and was replaced by Sith Battlemaster Malik (not the same person).

A Great Jedi War was announced, the first such large competition announced in a long time. Midway through this competition, Scithe resigned his post as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. He felt that he didn't have the ability at the time to invigorate the membership of a house, and hoped that perhaps someone new would be able to do so. Sith Battlemaster Bob replaced him as Quaestor.

Scithe was the final leader from the legacy generation of House Ludo Kressh.

Aediles

*CrimsonAngel (5th Aedile) - CrimsonAngel was Commander of Sapphire Squadron before being appointed Aedile. He was known for being very active on the message boards and in emails, and helped, along with a few others, establish the reputation Clan Naga Sadow has for drunkeness.

*Bond (6th Aedile) - The story of how Bond and Goatham developed in the house should be legend. Over a year earlier, Bond was denied the Aedile spot when Goatham got it, and now he finally got the Aedile spot. Bond was a former Squadron Commander and Rollmaster of the house.

*Abel Malik (7th Aedile) - Not to be confused with later Quaestor and Consul Malik Sadow. It is not known if Abel Malik held any position greater than Flight Leader. However, he did show a tremendous amount of activity despite not being in a real position of power in the house.

*Malik Sadow (8th Aedile) -

Bob - 5th Quaestor
Bob would have a very short (six week) tenure as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. However, they were six weeks full of DB-wide activity and an increase in activity in HLK which started in the final month of Scithe's tenure.

This was also a month where tensions would stir between the Dark Council and the Emperor's Hammer leadership. After only six weeks, Bob resigned as QUA of HLK.

Aediles

*Malik Sadow (8th Aedile) - It is unknown why Malik did not become Quaestor upon the resignation of Scithe.

Malik Sadow - 6th Quaestor
Malik Sadow's promotion to Quaestor came in the aftermath of a schism between the Dark Brotherhood and the Emperor's Hammer. The Dark Brotherhood seceded from the Emperor's Hammer in an effort to reestablish itself as a sister organization to the EH as opposed to a subgroup. The Emperor's Hammer leadership did not agree with this decision, and this disagreement created a split. Two Dark Brotherhoods were formed, the original, loyal to the Dark Council, and another, loyal to the leadership of the Emperor's Hammer.

Many members of Clan Naga Sadow and House Ludo Kressh found their loyalty to the Emperor's Hammer stronger than their loyalty to the Dark Council, and decided to join the Emperor's Hammer Dark Brotherhood (EHDB). Many members of House Ludo Kressh left, leaving only a handful remaining. After an AWOL check, even fewer members remained. The house was at its weakest point yet. Without the Dark Brotherhood's tie to the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps, and a lack of platforms for the Sith order to use, potential new members were few and far between.

Malik proved to be ever vigilant, producing reports as if there were dozens of members, even if there were only 6 dedicated members.

The only major competition during Malik's tenure was the 2nd Sith War. House Ludo Kressh placed 4th out of 7th in this competition.

Aediles

*Manesh (9th Aedile) - To help Malik rebuild the house, Sith Battlelord Manesh, former Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh, returned to activity, eventually assuming the role of Aedile.

Manesh Sadow - 7th Quaestor
Near the end of the 2nd Sith War, Malik became Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. In his place, Manesh became Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. The house continued to suffer from a lack of new members. In addition, any promising new members were diverted away from the house for various reasons. This forced Manesh to make due with what he had. In fact, the remainder of this chapter will focus on individual members, because that was the focus of the house during this time period.

Prior to his installment as Quaestor, Manesh convinced Sith Warlord Jeff “Tiger” Loruss and Sith Battlemaster Smitrock to transfer to the house.

The first task was to pick an Aedile, and Manesh chose Sith Warlord Jeff Loruss.

Overall, the clan became bolstered because of efforts to increase activity in regularly scheduled Dark Brotherhood multi-player events. However, during the first major DB competition in Manesh's tenure, the 3rd Sith War, Manesh found himself earning the vast majority of the Clan's points. He did not get the support from the Clan he was hoping for. In the end, the Clan placed 4th in the Sith War.

During the Sith War, SBM Smitrock left. SWL Jeff Loruss left shortly thereafter. Manesh figured that with House Ludo Kressh only numbering eight members, there was no point in appointing a replacement as Aedile.

These developments eventually demoralized Manesh. He realized that as a solely Sith house, House Ludo Kressh might never regain the kind of membership and activity it once had during his first reign as Quaestor.

Despite overwhelming activity on his part during the Sith War, Manesh was so jaded by a lack of enthusiasm from his other members (including members from other houses who were allowed to participate in this Sith War) that he was not as active when the next Great Jedi War came.

Realizing that other Clans were closing houses down, particularly Sith ones, Manesh figured that when he resigned as Quaestor, it would be the end of the house.

Aediles

*Jeff "Tiger" Loruss (10th Aedile) - Realizing that the House was dying and was in serious need of membership, Manesh recruited Sith Warlord Jeff "Tiger" Loruss and Sith Battlemaster Smitrock into the house. He eventually named Tiger his Aedile.

J'Rai Sadow - 8th Quaestor
This was not to be. Following similar actions by other clans in the Dark Brotherhood, Consul Malik Sadow and Proconsul Korras decided to close House Primus Goluud and incorporate its membership into the new multi-order House Ludo Kressh. This decision was reached when the Quaestors of both houses had resigned, quickly followed by the previous proconsul, Tissaya Luna Argat. The Quaestor of the remaining house, Korras, was assigned Proconsul. With not enough candidates for a Quaestor position, this was the only option.

Taking up the reign of the house was Krath Epis J'Rai Sadow, former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow. He was the first Krath Quaestor of the house.

While his first responsibility should have been rebuilding the house, the clan was still embroiled in the Great Jedi War. He named Dark Jedi Knight Dessan as his Aedile. However, a couple of months later, Dessan was removed from the post. Rai, like Manesh, decided that there wasn't enough activity in the house to demand an Aedile.

Despite all of this, with some time, House Ludo Kressh returned to a healthy level of activity.

Rai started to feel ill, and decided that he needed a new Aedile to help him run the house. He chose former Tissaya Argat Sadow, former Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, however, she quickly left the position almost immediately after getting it.

As Rai fell into illness, a new House summit was needed.

Aediles

*Dessan (11th Aedile) - Rai named Dark Jedi Knight Dessan as his Aedile. However, a couple of months later, Dessan was removed from the post. Rai, like Manesh, decided that there wasn't enough activity in the house to demand an Aedile.

*Tissaya Argat (12th Aedile) - Rai started to feel ill, and decided that he needed a new Aedile to help him run the house. He chose Tissaya Argat Sadow, former Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, however, she quickly left the position almost immediately after getting it.

Bob - 9th Quaestor
Filling in the house leadership void was SBM Robert Daragon, in his 2nd term as Quaestor. He immediately chose Obelisk Exarch Raistlin Sadow as his Aedile.

Bob's first order of business was closing Diamond Squadron and creating a new squadron, the Iron Fist Brigade, as an Obelisk battleteam. He later brought the Night Death Phyle to the house for the Krath members. This is the battleteam structure that the house has today.

Bob ran various competitions, and for the most part, the House was active. The Independence Games came, and the Clan did well, taking a close 4th. More importantly, the camaraderie that currently pervades the house started with Bob.

Near the end of Bob's term, the house exploded with activity unseen in many years.

However, all good things must come to an end. Bob stepped down as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh and was replaced by Aedile Macron.

Aediles

*Raistlin Sadow (13th Aedile) - Raistlin, like Bob, was in House Naga Sadow before it became a Clan.

*Macron (14th Aedile) - Macron was Sapphire Squadron Commander before becoming Aedile. Known for being an outstanding commander, he was the obvious choice for Aedile when the position opened.

Macron Mononoke Keibatsu-Goura - 10th Quaestor
Macron took the reins as Bob was stepping down. He found himself as a Quaestor without an Aedile for some time, but still rallied the House. During his time, Ludo Kressh became the First House of Sadow during a Clan Feud. Mononoke encouraged competition, and strove to make sure everyone was having a good time. Even some largely inactive older members became active again during his quaestorship, much to everyone's delight.

Notable works include helping to re-formulate the Clan Knight Trials, and helping to write the Lightsaber Combat Guide with Muz and Xanos. Macron also authored the Lightsaber Basics and Sith Alchemy Shadow Academy courses for the Brotherhood at large during this time. A contest was run to re-name the traditionally Krath Battle team to "Jade Serpents".

Aediles

*Xhedias (15th Aedile) - Xhedias was a Tetrarch, Aedile, and Quaestor in Clan Satal Keto before coming to Clan Naga Sadow. When he transferred he became Commander of the Night Falcons Squadron. He then become Clan Naga Sadow's rollmaster before becoming Aedile. However, this time as Aedile was short lived.

*Lucius (16th Aedile) - Lucius was in Clan Arcona before transferring to Clan Naga Sadow. Lucius was also Night Falcons Commander before being appointed Aedile. However, Lucius felt ineffectual in his role as Aedile and stepped down.

*Xia Long "Sildrin Sadow" (17th Aedile) - Sildrin was a long-time member of the house, and based on her resurgence of activity in the house, and proven maturity, she was appointed Aedile of House Ludo Kressh.

Xia Long "Sildrin Sadow" - 11th Quaestor
Xia-Long "Sildrin" Sadow was a long-standing member of Clan Naga Sadow, joining the Dark Brotherhood during Manesh's original reign as Quaestor. However, it was only around the time of Macron's Quaestorship that Sildrin rose to the occasion and exploded into activity. She very quickly became the obvious choice for leadership in the Clan. She was appointed Aedile by Macron, and upon Macron's retirement became Quaestor.

Sildrin proved to be a strong Quaestor. In fact, she led the house during Clan Naga Sadow's outstanding performance in the 6th Great Jedi War, considered by the clan to be the greatest performance the clan has ever had.

Not only was Sildrin a good leader, she also had many talents. The Grand Master of the Dark Brotherhood, Jac Cotelin, recognized this and named Sildrin the Dark Brotherhood Seneschal, elevating her to the Dark Council.

Aediles

*Malisane De Ath (18th Aedile) - Malisane previously served as Clan Naga Sadow's Envoy before becoming Aedile.

Malisane de Ath -12th Quaestor
Upon Sildrin's appointment as Seneschal, Malisane became Quaestor. He served for around eight months before retiring and handing over to his Aedile Ashia.

Aediles

*Xayun Erinos (19th Aedile) - Xayun was first House Envoy of Ludo Kressh and then Clan Envoy of Naga Sadow. He went on to be Aedile, but he eventually left to concentrate on his gaming and socialising.

*Ashia Kagan Keibatsu (20th Aedile) - Ashia was first Tetrarch of the Jade Serpents and House Envoy of Ludo Kressh before becoming Aedile

Ashia Kagan Keibatsu -13th Quaestor
With Malisane's retirement, Ashia stepped up to take the reins of leadership within the house.

Aediles

*Horus Blackheart (21th Aedile)
Horus had played an integral part in the clan in a behind the scenes way and had been Ashia's personal advisor on may occasions. He served for about 6 months before resigning.

*Tsingtao Ming (22th Aedile)
Tsingtao had served as Tetrarch of the Jade Serpents and as House Envoy of Ludo Kressh before becoming Aedile

Ashia Kagan Keibatsu: /* The Active Black Guard */

Introduction
The Order of the Black Guard is an elite military unit consisting of the best warriors, spies and saboteurs in all of Clan Naga Sadow. At any given time there are always seven active agents assigned to each of the seven leaders of the Clan, the Consul, Proconsul, both Quaestors, both Aediles, and the Overlord. They act as the agents of the clan summit and the shadowed hand of the clan and the Overlord.

History
My Honor is Loyalty

The Black Guard was founded by Daihok Endymiron and Shin’ichi Endymiron Keibatsu as an elite guard unit selected to serve their assigned summit member in the same way that Darth Vader served Emperor Palpatine. Acting as their iron fist and shadowed hand.

The idea struck the two Dark Jedi shortly after Daihok ascended to the position of Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos. Feeling that his position was shaky and his safety uncertain Daihok sought to have his cousin Shin’ichi, then known as Tharivol Endymiron, act as a bodyguard for the sole purpose of defending him from physical harm. As time went on Shin’ichi took it upon himself to act in a more proactive manner and began to route out conspiracies and plots against his cousin and master eventually acting upon them with deadly resolve. Soon he found himself investigating not only plots against the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos, but plots against the whole of Clan Naga Sadow. The two felt the time had come for Naga Sadow to defend itself against all threats both overt and covert.

They approached the Overlord, Consul Xanos, and Proconsul Trevarus with a proposition to build the Order of the Black Guard. After much debate and discussion the idea was approved and Daihok and Shin’ichi were told to seek out six more members to form the order. Thus the Order of the Black Guard was born.

Over time the order has developed into an extensive network, with many guardsmen going on to serve in various leadership roles within the clan. This is only natural considering the close relationship guardsmen have with their assigned summit leader. While only seven members are active at any one time, any previous guardsman can be called up at a moments notice to serve the will of the summit. For this reason the Black Guard know that only death will release them from their vows.

Selection and Training
Bring me the finest and first part of all you have

Only the best of Naga Sadow are selected to act as Black Guard. Through activity, skill, and observation of demonstrations of loyalty are potential members selected. Some go their whole careers in Naga Sadow without ever serving in guard.

Once a potential candidate is recruited they are sent to Sadow Palace for the first phase of training. This phase is known as “indoctrination” and consists of classroom instruction on a wide variety of topics including; procedure, interrogation, galactic law, slicing, finance, political science, etiquette, business practices, analysis, critical thinking, cross cultural studies, and special one-on-one classes on loyalty. This phase also contains light physical training and lasts one year.

At the completion of year one, candidates that pass their courses, are sent to Tarthos for their second year or phase two. This phase is known as “hardening” and consists of all manner of physical training both in enclosed gymnasiums and in the field, and field operations and skills. These courses include; small arms, heavy weapons, bladed weapons, demolitions, intense lightsaber drill, force drill, assassination technique, vehicle operations, spacecraft operations, field tactics, stealth, escape evasion and survival, surviving interrogation, intelligence gathering, counterintelligence, and other classified courses.

Upon completion of these two years of training a candidate is then ready for selection by a summit member to act as a Black Guard. Active members are frequently rotated out due to the high level of combat stress, and mortality.

Equipment
This is my saber.

The Black Guard are given access to the best weapons and equipment that Clan Naga Sadow has to offer. Beyond this each guardsman is issued their own set of specialized black armor, the schematics of which remain classified. It is rumored that they are enhanced with Sith Alchemy. They are known to employ a variety of unusual weapons, including Violator Gas.

The Active Black Guard is granted unlimited access to all records and classified documentation within the Clan databases, and is even allowed to attend Conclave.

Mark of Honor
In Darkness we are bound

The mark of the Black Guard is burned onto the flesh of all guardsmen without exception by the summit leader they are assigned to. Some employ poisoned inks in the tradition of ancient Sith Tattoos, while others use a more direct method, that of direct application via a form of force lightning. This is a final test to prove the fortitude of the guardsman in question. It is thought that if they can endure the extreme suffering at the hands of their new master, then they would be bound inexorably to them thus cementing their loyalty.

#Others will object to the nomination if they disagree that the article is good enough; they will then supply reasons for doing so, and ways to improve the article (errors, style, organization, images, notability, sources).
#Supporters adjust the article until the objectors (with reasonable objections) are satisfied.
#The article is placed on the featured article list and added to the front page queue.
#Also, if, at least a week after the article's nomination, that article has 5 supports and no objections, it will be added the queue, and will be officially known as a "featured article".

<big>How to vote:</big>

#Before doing anything, be sure to read the article completely, keeping a sharp eye out for mistakes.
#Afterwards, compare the article to the criteria listed above, and then either support or object the article's nomination.
##If you object, please supply concrete reasons for doing so, and how it can be improved.
#As stated above, any objections will be looked upon by the nominator, supporters, and anyone willing to improve the article, and action will be taken to please the objectors.
#Once all objectors' complaints have been solved (or the article has 5 supports and no objections after at least a week), the article will be added to the queue and be officially known as a "featured article".

Also remember to add nominated at the top of the article you are nominating.

Every Sunday the next article in the queue will be highlighted on the Main Page as featured, marked with the featured template and removed from the list of nominations. The beginning of the article then appears on the Main Page via the featured article template. Nominees that are inactive for a month will be eliminated from the nominations list.

Featured article nominations
List an article and leave your signature for the nomination(s) - additional comments beyond support or object (unless you have concrete reasons as to why you object) are not required and will be deleted.
